on the otherhand BAVD shows a unique concept and the focus isnt just on dwarfism but the show speaks volumes on discrimination as a whole.

Balika vadhu hass given out quite a few good messages in the past. though is current track is going off the road but i guess it will soon return to normal after they start focusing on jagyas life in the city. earlier they showed how anandi sacrificed her studies and little happiness for family peace, then the sugna widow remarraige track, phoolis discrimination track, the shows first track revolving around a girl who finally committed suicide becoz of the tauntings of the society after her husband left her. these are certainly the ill effects of marraige at such a young age.

Moreover the show is to portray the ill effects of child marraige......so if anandi gets educated then wats the use??? they wont be able to show the MAJOR ill effect of child marraige. child marraige disrupts a girls education and thats what they have showed in the show to make people realise its impact. if they show anandi educated then child marraige here will take a positive turn showing that with even getting married so soon a girl gets educated which is wrong.

It should indeed, but Star Plus's show Kali will give it the toughest competition. At least it shows that shows are of high quality these days if there is healthy competition.

hhey me new in this forum. have seen a few episodes and i like the concept of the show. but i too feel that BAVD has just started and it requires some more time to achieve what it intends to do. Maybe a few more months and then it will be as rocking as Balika Vadhu

this show is on the wrong channel....but its very deserving

i really won't say that BAVD deserves an award coz the show is still in its early stage. ...lot more things to happen. there are many shows that start with a very good new concept but later on either they fail to get TRPs or they deviate from their track & turn into a filmi saas bahu serial🤢

i strongly believed that kashi & devi were very good serials with a good message but sadly the shows started deviating from their main subject matter plus they also got low TRPs as a result both the shows got closed😵

yes BAVD is also trying to show the discrimination done to those who are people of short height. i hope the show sticks to what it's been trying to show. whatever problems shown should be strictly confined to the area of dwarfism. if the creatives deviate from their subject matter & turn it into a regular saas bahu drama then obviously people will say it wasn't necessary to cast a girl of 3.5" feet it could have been done with any tall actress. it shouldn't look like it wasn't necessary to cast a midget... any other girl of normal height could play the role. if this happens then the show will definitely lose its credibility🤔

talking about BV i stopped watching it long time back coz i felt the show did show some good issues at the start but later on deviated from it's subject matter & became a saas bahu drama🥱

whether the awards are fair or not is not the thing here is a secondary thing... i guess BAVD still has a long way to go before deciding whether it deserves an award or not. it's still has to grow😳😕

i agree... BV once upon a time showed some very good issues but now child marriage is not the focus of the show anymore. it's more of a saas bahu show... talking about the current track ...just in case jagya gets attracted to another girl will have nothing to do with anandi not being educated... just another typical saas bahu show it would be

award for serials with best social message should be won by serials which show the evil of the society & are able to leave an impact on the audiences that it's wrong.
well if BAVD is able to make people in the society stop making fun of people who are of dwarf size & treat them without any kind of discrimination then it would be said to have left an impact...😳

i hope it gets in new talent awards
