Today we gather to celebrate the birthday of a very special person - talented, effervescent, charming, beloved - one thing you cannot say about the actress is that she's ordinary or typical. November 26 marks the birthday of the fiery actress Anupriya Kapoor! Join me in wishing Anupriya a very happy birthday!
Anupriya Kapoor has captivated audiences with an over-the-top figure and a larger-than-life personality, and skyrocketed to fame by enacting the role of Taani in Tere Liye. Anupriya is famous forher long dark hair, large expressive eyes and obvious talent.
Anupriya hails from a Punjabi backdrop and was born and brought up in Delhi, in a family of four; her parents and her younger brother. She pursued her earlier education in Delhi and then moved to Mumbai to throw her hat into the acting ring. Initially she didn't even think of acting, however, she met up with a few people from the industry and also appeared for a few auditions. Thankfully, her meetings were quite positive and she decided to go that route. Close at hand she is also pursuing her graduation through a correspondence course and is specializing in psychology.
When she had come to Mumbai she did her first industry work with Gajendra Singh in Voice of India, Waar-Parivar andJunoon. She was a senior executive producer in his team before moving to acting.
She made her first appearance in two Yashraj shows ' Rishta.com and Seven. She had been selected to do cameo roles but her role did not register on any industry radar screens. She had also been considered for the female lead of Balagi's new show Beytab Dil Ki Tammana. However, when she went for the actual shoot, she realized the contractual terms she had with the makers were violated. She was signed up as the female lead of the show but when she started shooting she found her character being sidelined. So she decided not to work in it and she by no means regrets her decision.
Fortunately for her, she received her first good break in Star One's Miley Jab Hum Tum as Suhani. It was through this show she gained widespread recognition. Unfortunately, her small part didn't properly showcase her talent. She was still convinced that life had bigger plans for her!
No doubt, 1 year later for everyone's good Ekta Kapoor and Anupriya Kapoor came together to give the mega hit Tere Liye. She stars alongside Harshad Chopda and together they Anupriya Kapoor has captivated audiences with an over-the-top figure and a larger-than-life personality, and skyrocketed to fame by enacting the role of Taani in Tere Liye.
