The last track was BP's weakest and most poorly designed, like it was shoved into a mould that had been pre-designed with no consideration for the story.

Turning the donkey Radhe into the villain ended the moral brigade's harping on the wrongness of Amoli falling in love with her husband's killer.

So, lo and behold, the dead first husband was no longer dead, and a bad guy besides.

I loathed Radhe being brought back from the dead to be turned into a villain. It devalued Amoli's slow realization that she loved DV when she switched so completely in her feelings to Radhe.

The previous track had DV losing his edge, and I minded that, but not so much because it was understandable. I think the CVs were softening the character of DV to blunt criticisms for the ending of him and Amoli together, though they may have had no idea it would end up so rushed.

I completely agree with you.........it was a beautiful story .....great characters.....superbly acted
but after the marriage of DV/Amoli they didn't know what to do with the story......so they kept going
back & forth .......Amoli almost falling for DV......suddenly Amoli hating him.....then this Radhe comes and the story gets butchered completely.......but the last epi showed the command the
cvs have in showing romance........the very thing we were waiting for for a year.....but alas not to be

So right Leelaa,

Radhe's return was justified to an extent. In the social context the guilty one had to pay for his sins before he could move on. On the other hand Amoli oscillating between the two & her bizarre turn around towards the end was inexplicable.
It was almost as if the big boss proclaimed that the audience should get a happy ending at any cost & the poor writers scurried around putting together some last minute drivel.

It was such a shame seeing well-etched characters being reduced to mere caricatures of their former selves.
Yet if you sift through this drivel, there is still such promise in the show.
Just hope they can see it too & give us a continuation....

You're quite right that the CVs very frustratingly kept going back and forth, but I think they knew what they were doing just fine until the last track, actually.

Amoli didn't *almost* fall for DV. She *did* fall for him.

Ideally, for the integrity of the storyline, they should have had Amoli continue to draw closer to DV, culminating in the fitting resolution to that track, and beginning another track with them together.

Instead, to preserve the series' legacy from the morality soapbox orators, they brought Radhe back as a villain, turned Amoli into such a gullible and vituperative fool and DV so ineffective that the sanctimonious screechers had the rug pulled out from under their feet.

As for the last ep, the CVs managed in one episode ⭐️ to compensate for the entire wretched loathsome repugnant track.

Regarding your last comment, buddy, we're all *counting* on seeing romance in BP2 😍, otherwise why would we fight so for it? 👍🏼

Perhaps the moment that promised the most - a promise that was never lived up to - was when DV got back into his old form and set fire to the structure after locking Balwant inside, with DV's signature ruthless non-Amoli tune playing in the background.

We waited especially after that to see the CVs stop turning DV ineffectual, but they didn't right until he took the pistol from Amoli's hand after she shot Puneet.
