let's think of this as an obstacle that will make them stronger and their love deeper!!! Maneet are obvious soul mates...remember god's sign of the falling star when he put the ring on her finger! Let's just keep faith!!! Plus this way the story gets kind of exciting...we'll see a possessive and a jealous maan!
