Actually, Archana did smartest thing by asking Vandu to slap her. What did Rasika mean by asking Vandu to slap Archana. She wanted to humiliate Archana. But when Archana is herself urging Vandu to slap her then the underlying meaning of slapping itself is lost. This slap has no meaning where Vandu is forced to slap and Archana is willing to get slapped. Was Archana humiliated by this slap? I guess not. Had she not asked Vandu to slap her and Vandu had gone ahead with slapping Archana, now that would have been more humiliating.So not only she diluted the effect of slap, she also made it easier for Vandu to do so and Vandu was able to prove that she accepts Lokhande as her family. More responses to follow .....

arien...diff angle on the slap scene..nice.....never thought of it like that..buy ya, archana compelling vandu to slap her..did diminsh the insult somewhat....cool

Well Tanya in that case watchout Monday's episode that will prove his love for Archu!

Gets himself really slapped hard, so is not that good enough to say that how much he love's Archu beyond eternity!

Look, I am not a Manav hater ...I think he is a good man and I feel sorry for him . But I have been watching this show very closely and I am very sure that the love this guy had for this girl has died long time back ..it lives somewhere in his heart but very deep and it is very little . He has learned to not care that much for her .

I think it is more of a love for old time sake .....

At this moment he does not love anyone ..He just wants to get on with his life and fullfill the promise he made to Shravani .

What happens to Archana is not at all his concern ...

As for Archu , of course I want her to move on ..She was doing very well when she was working and then ...

But I have accepted that she will never let go of him .One way or another she will always be helping him out . Even without his knowledge she will try and be there for him..

Tha tis the Pavitra Rishta of her heart and she will keep it forever ...

He will get slapped hard but I don't think it will be because he loves her ....

Oh come on .. he will be angry and frustrated at the situation . He would have done the same if Vandita had slapped your doll .In fact then he would have made Vandita slap him 10 times ....

he is 10 times more bothered about Shravani's honour .

That man does not care about Archana's izzat ...of course not .Archu too is partly to be blamed for this lack of izzat people have for her .

Archana is in no position to ask Vandu to leave that house and dissolve her marriage with Ajit. If anyone could do that then it was Manav or Savita. But when they themselve accepted this marriage and came to see Grushpravesh how can Archana ask Vandu to leave the house.

You know Arien , that slap did not make me that angry as I knew why Archana was doing it ...

What got me worried was what she said in the auto about Vandita's garhasti ...

I mean is she crazy that she has now started to believe that vandu actually has a garhasti with this animal ...

If this is what she believes then she has a big ugly surprise coming for her ...

I think while she was aboutto get slapped the only thing in her mind was how to make this ordeal easy for vandita ...as much as she could .
