Archana's character is like this, she is willing to take the abuse no matter what. I don't blame her for taking the slap though, Vandu was being pushed to do so and Archana probably felt it would be less painful to be slapped than to watch Rasika forcing Vandu to do something she doesn't want to do.

I don't blame Arch for taking that slap. She didn't have much choice.. She could not have possibly dragged Rasika to police station tonight.. Her efforts on Mahila Samiti front totally backfired..In fact I was glad she kept quiet throughout the marriage fiasco and grihapravesh..Manav on the other hand could have done lot of things.. right from dragging vandu from Mahila Samiti office to stopping her from slapping Arch... once again he proved that he is nothing but one COWARD husband and a COWARD brother!

It's very hard to say what will happen with Vandu track.. she is so disoriented at this point..Looks like Rasika favors mental torture for all Deshmukhs.. sigh..

mimas i know the slap was needed for drama but somehow i always feel there is an option instead of taking such blatant crap. if one is not determined to take it , one doesnt .and what is unacceptabl;e to me is leaving vandu behind in the hands of those two simply due to a ritual called marraige .

if vandu have married ajit due to some stress that doesn't mean they should leave her to rot in rasika's hell.people have advanced so much but they still think that they should leave their daughter with rashika so that she can torture her.

exactly . there simply cannot be the statement that there is no option . leaving a person behind knowingly to endure abuse is awful . if needed manav shud resort to foul means but not leave his sister behind
