March 8, 2010 Written Update

Jyoti is asleep and is tossing and turning in bed hearing Pankaj accusing her of lies. She wakes up with startled when the doorbell rings. Sushma goes to get it and learns Poonam's family has sent them a tray of fruits. Padma goes to give them a tip and Dadi taunts her for copying the ways of the wealthy. Jyoti goes to talk to KK in his room, who is reminiscing of Jyoti as a child and her dreams of getting married. He blames himself for not fulfilling his duty as a father that now she has to go to court for the divorce hearing and Jyoti comforts him.

In Vashisht house Sudha is asking CM if its necessary that she go to court. CM tells her yes, and that the lawyer said that she shud come incase someone needs to testify to prove that Jyoti's sasural never tortured her. CM leaves and Sudha cries to Uday, who tells her that there's nothing more they can do now that Jyoti has signed the divorce papers herself. Later, Sudha goes to Pankaj telling him to go get ready to go to court. Pankaj, who is still remembering time w/ Jyoti is reluctant and CM urges him to get ready to start his life afresh.

Jyoti and Kalpana show up outside of court and Kalpana asks why she called her here. She goes on talking about how Jyoti's article got published, and even shows her the article. Jyoti then explains to her abt the hearing when the Vashishts/Neelam's family arrives. CM thanks Jyoti and goes in. Kalpana asks why she agreed to sign on lying papers and Jyoti explains how it was for Neelam's sake. Kalpana tells Jyoti that she's sure she will get her justice today. On their way inside, they are pestered by some lawyers looking for work. Another lawyer asks if they know who these 2 are and explain they are opposite the Vashishts. The group of lawyers gossip and taunt Jyoti, who looks on. End.
