The way jai old Bani to read him without words was great.Him deciding to leave his family was enough to tell what her place in his life. Loved their romance.

The epilogue was very touching esp the welcome Bani got & her talk with Sudha. can't help but feel bad for Priyadi. Its natural for her to get apprehensive about married life. She had n't seen anything good. Jigyasa's daughter's paid for her sin. NO matter how bad sje was the way Pia's in laws & husband were treating her was despisable.

Overall it was a great story reflecting social set up in that era. All characters Satya, Bani, budhima, choti chachi, Jai's mom are strong women. Jai is the pillar of support to them & his subjects. He is like Ram or even better ( no im not talking about RK) .......great son, brother, husband, father & king.

great story very well etched characters ...specially the women were done brilliantly.. but then it was their story, there was a range of emotional evolution from Priya to sudha to Budima, choti chachi everybody... i could even feel Vijayraj's wife in the BG ...but if i have to vote for one Priyambada touches me the most !she wasnt detailed as the leading ladies but she haunted me thru out the story ...glad you included her in the epilogue
