So, Rio is basically character assassinating Vaishnavi so that he can trap her by playing her knight in shining armour. When he marries her he will be seen as someone who was trusting Vaishnavi and believing in her when Parth wouldn’t and probably not a lot of people as well from the family.
Vaishnavi may herself start having feelings for him only to discover he had been the one responsible for making everyone think she’s some loose girl who would have designs on any guy. Vaishnavi may try to expose him but who would believe her? Practically no one. Not until something terrible happens to her, not necessarily an encore of what happened to Nandini but would be terrible. Now we need to see who is the Tanya to Parth’s Karan as the hint was dropped already.
