The makers played Krishna Tu Jhootha as a score when Nandini was getting r**ed.

The multiple marriages of women to different brothers of the same family is also the influence of what we have been talking about Bollywood for a while now. TV has yet to make it to the conversation weirdly despite being in our homes and far more accessible than movies. But TV shows aren’t just brain rot and slop but are also responsible for doing the exact same thing that Bollywood has been doing for decades but in a different manner.

Also societal context would always be important. When mandira karan truth came up in 2000 era writers could write tulsi leaving but audience won't accept it. They probably won't even now cause kyuki is also virani family drama . Tulsi leaving virani would be removal of many characters and new set of people

Kyuki would be fantastic is tulsi leaves mihir and we see she gets a new man. That would be anupama plot. Or tulsi not a virani anymore making her life with business and mental peace. But along the way she's more of a virani now. She's not related to mihir anymore, her connection is with the family and for the same family she keeps coming back. I think they showed this thing though the remarrying too. She did it not cause she loves mihir bt cause she loves her kids.

What I meant was a character like Trupti saying stuff like this wouldn’t have been so weird and very in character for her. But for Gautam to joke about this wasn’t the sort of thing that makes sense!

Many many real life families have two brothers marrying 2 sisters. And in the serial it's about two people falling in love and getting they partner. Like ganga sahil and Gautam teesha/,damini. And of course KN and even tanya karan. Anupam got kesar.

Why play that tune at all for an assault scene? Why use the word Jhootha for a god? English shows have female characters who are important to the plot also assaulted but do you hear them playing a tune wherein Mary, Jesus or any archangel is accused of being a liar or anything?

The marrying brothers bit is about the same woman marrying different brothers like Nandini married Ansh and Karan. Ganga married Gautam and Saahil. Damini almost married Karan but is married to Gautam. KT fell in love with Lakshya, got assaulted by Mayank and married Eklavya. Now, Vaishnavi is getting engaged to Parth but will marry Rio. Have you ever seen this irl in any family you know? Two sisters getting married into the same family as they wed two brothers isn’t a problem and is known to happen. That’s not inc**tous, nor problematic by any means.

The issue with this whole situation is that Tulsi and others rub it in whenever the occasion demands how Karan was accepted.

Even this absurd notion that Karan has no claim to Virani assets and inheritance makes no sense whatsoever because the man is a Virani by blood even if Tulsi didn’t birth him! His father is Mihir, Karan has a claim in the family inheritance whether Tulsi accepts him or not as long as it can be proven without a doubt in any court of law that he is Mihir’s son biologically and therefore legally obligated to get his inheritance from his father’s family whether they like it or not.

Some people have such a huge problen with karan-nandini(hiten-gauri) that they are just spreading mindless hatred without checking the facts . Karan wasn't even on the show for the last two weeks , and karan-nandini didn't share a single scene together . The focus was actually on tulsi, nandini, niyati parth, vaishnavi and especially rio . Karan just came back in this week . When the ml and fl wedding couldn't even boost the trps , why target others ? As if the makers don't know exactly what's going on.

Even someone has created multiple accounts on x just to age-shaming hiten-gauri. 1 or 2 people keep spamming tweets, trying to force the makers to remove karan-nandini.
