i don't understand how we find it hard to digest that alia might have got 15 plus, when we believe anything posted about budgets, especially over budget movies and my favourite received 20cr oh i am believing this

Honestly, it irks me when people do - out of frustration or whatever - a 'sweeping blow' and state things that just aren't true (bold part)... it's rehashing the same lie since some years and I don't know why because those who really have a knowing in box office matters and have - unbiased and skillfully - tracked down factual cheating, never named Pathaan - in the contrary, they lauded this movie for the genuine success and condemned attempts to malign the boxoffice with false accusations and faked pictures. (If wished, I can even give proof of what I claim repeatedly.. although it might result in an essay.)

It's not targetting Bri alone but all those who can't stop to peddle the lie that Pathaan did corporate bookings and "corruption" and what not to get its boxoffice success. (with Jawan it was the same, btw.), It had been only Dunki where one tried to counter the (proved) treachery of AA Films and Salaar-makers with (minor) corporate bookings.

Another 'controversy' which happens here - the age gap - is quite exaggerated, imo. One should go with the characters and their age to start a discussion and not with the real age of actors/actresses. It's okay, imo, when one accuses a quite senior actor of playing a character far too young for the actor's appearance (and the same for an actress)... but if a 60-year old actor works with an actress even more than 30 years his junior and it works in the movie (even with an romantic angle), why even get all worked up about this age gap if it works on screen?

Oh well let's take that number, it will mean that the budget is huge and when it flops there won't be any excuses
