Wahi to, it is so stupid. I understand Virani industries thode losess me thi due to Noina and RV, but the moment Tulsi took over Angad n Rithik worked hard and it again came back to shape.

I think this is explained by post leap debt issues. We’re told that post leap the Viranis are deep in debt; they had borrowed from family friends like Baapji and bank alike. Tulsi returns, gets huge orders and then pays off the minimum amount borrowed from the banks to keep them from selling the company’s assets off in the auction, she also pays off Baapji to get back the documents for Shanti Niketan. The bank loan/s are not paid off entirely by Tulsi’s orders yet. The fact that Noina’s partnership was dissolved and she was paid off also meant that a large sum of money that could have been utilised to pay off some more debt was spent towards paying Noina to send her away.

The bank loan/s are to be paid off regardless of the other expenses and that’s where Karan probably comes into the picture. He’s paying for the loan so as to ensure that the company doesn’t get in trouble again. The company hasn’t probably recovered yet from the losses incurred in those 6 years entirely yet; whatever earnings are made are probably not enough to register as surplus income for the Viranis. They’re probably using a major portion of the income to keep their business running by paying off the employees. Technically it’s not been too long since Tulsi paid off some of that loan. So it makes sense. It’s probably been a few months at most so it makes sense why Karan is assisting the family’s financial situation.

However, the clarification you gave is agreed to some extent. But Nandini's claim is saaloan se Karan help karrha hai for SN and factory was something forcibly introduced. Instead they should have told 5saal se, but if I remember correctly Karan was not in touch with Virani's the moment Tulsi left.

Noina's breaking partnership also ensures the part of the debt be shared to her too while the partnership is dissolved. I agree 6years debt can't be paid in mere 6months, however they claimed that they are doing considerably good and Jamshedpur factory losses are recovered by VI profits (Mumbai).

I think the issue here aren’t the actors themselves it’s the script and the same not being appealing enough to the audience. The show started out in this season as a more grounded and less OTT drama show. The challenges presented were based in reality be it about a child being spoiled (Pari), a child being disgruntled about perceived favouritism (Gautam) and also the challenge of Tulsi facing history repeating itself wherein she picked herself up and got independent.

Karan, Nandini in and of themselves aren’t the problem nor is their integration in the show. Rather the whole angle about Karan running the home’s expenses is actually a rather interesting premise when Gautam’s insecurities are taken into account. Had Nakul’s education been included in this as being sponsored by Karan too without Gautam or Damini’s knowledge let alone consent it would’ve been explosive. But the problem here is the revival of the Ansh angle where again a child of his wants to paint him as a victim despite knowing facts and wants absurd revenge using a girl as a pawn again is where people are not drawn.

The casting of Aakashdeep also is not a problem, but his casting as a son of Ansh when this is a done and dusted trope is the issue. Had he played a different character who plays his age appropriate character who happened to be a doppelgänger of Ansh’s who just happened to cross path with the Viranis causing the new generation to know the dark secrets of the past, it wouldn’t have been as awful. Had Ansh’s backstory been written into the show again impacting the Viranis say when someone, say a journalist happened to come across some honour won by Tulsi was tasked to write a piece on her, and who in their research came across the whole Ansh thing causing the wounds of the past to be ripped open again, it wouldn’t have been as awful either, but this rehash of what we already saw in S1 with Bhoomi and Eklavya is where people are zoning out.

The show dealt with the present and future problems where past was shown as an echo, a parallel of the same; while it was updated with the modern day too by including Pari’s arc which was based off of girls and women filing fake cases against men on charges of assault, harassment and dowry among other things along with their families while the girl/woman herself has an affair with someone else. She walks away regardless of what she does because there’s no legal basis to act against her owing to a lack of gender neutral laws that can be enforced in cases like these where at least a defamation lawsuit should be allowed to be filed against someone who has been proven to have falsely accused someone for XYZ reasons.

Pari got her comeuppance but in the form of Ran, then she got her happy ending too with her Stockholm Syndrome survivor husband.

The show is suffering because it doesn’t just lack coherency as we know it in terms of a plot line but also is recycling the same old trash which didn’t work in S1 as well and expecting for it to have new results when it didn’t back then too. The whole revenge arc can be done away with by simply adding the facts together in a single conversation to Rio but that’s not happening at all for stupid plot reasons. Rio is supposedly smart but he’s yet to put together the 2 and 2 of what he knows - his dad dumped his mom and him, leaving them behind while he flew out of the US for a decade. In this decade, he married not one but two different women and has per the canon of this season fathered at least one child on one of them despite supporting Niyati and Rio financially until his death. Rio knows Shraddha and Eklavya existed but are dead but he’s yet to ask any relevant questions regarding them like when did Ansh marry her, when was Eklavya born, why did he marry her, were they divorced or not when he married Nandini. How long after his marriage to Shraddha did he marry Nandini. What were his reasons to marry Nandini if he was already married, if he was single or thought himself as such then was his past ever disclosed to Nandini prior to their marriage? How could Ansh keep on sending money to Niyati and Rio out of a sense of duty, obligation or responsibility but not marry her while he would easily marry other women? Why would he do that to his mom? Under what circumstances did Tulsi exactly end up shooting Ansh? He’s asking nothing!

The arc of Khushboo blaming him and then it all turning out to be some genius plan of his also makes no sense. His anger at Tulsi and the rest of the family disappearing instantly also makes no sense, as he suddenly becomes the laadla raja beta who can do no wrong where not one person beyond Nandini and Parth is applying common sense is what’s going wrong here. Tulsi’s reactions and behaviour can be explained by her guilt and her longing for the child she barely had and lost resurfacing again but the rest of the family is being dumb for reasons beyond comprehension. The dumb bandaid of Rio is a good person based off of him being raised by Karan also makes no sense given the whole premise makes no sense. Karan can absolutely come across an ex of Ansh’s who has a child with him anywhere in the world, but why hide them for over a decade when at the time the child doesn’t even look like Ansh is where no one is buying this stupidity. Karan could have easily made the family privy to the truth once he had himself recovered from the shock, got Rio and Niyati to SN and basically allowed Rio to look up to him like a father figure where Rio knew Karan was his uncle from day one. No one would’ve objected to Rio being in SN when he was a child and if he grew up and happened to look like Ansh, so be it. The whole thing about him being trusted like this blindly would’ve made far more sense if he had been raised by the Viranis and then had broken bad at least.

This is much like YRF believing Alpha can do fabulous business because YRF has so far managed to sell absurdity and trash in the name of slick action flicks of the Spy Verse even when people have tasted blood with Dhurandhar and are ripping them off and rightfully so for their attempt at what’s clearly a very expensive and very stupid take on what’s one of the most dangerous jobs in the world which happens to be in a field that itself is called Intelligence!

The timeline is vague even if it’s in years. Did Karan start paying 2 years ago, 3? How many? Tulsi wasn’t there and while he was angry with Mihir, Parth still lived there and they could have explained that Parth called Karan when the family was on the verge of bankruptcy or something which is where Karan started paying money because despite everything he couldn’t allow the business to sink since it’s a legacy business and he can’t punish the future for the sake of 1 person while also disgracing the past. He has way too much love, affection and respect for Baa and even Mansukh to let this business shut down for good. The explanation can still be reasonable.

The issue isn’t this fact being thrown at us, it’s how it’s not being explained and was randomly shoehorned in when no allusions were made regarding the same previously.

Karan wasn't in contact with mihir and tulsi during 6 years , but who knows, maybe he stayed in touch with rithik . Pre-leap, it was rithik who used to keep in contact with karan-nandini the most. So if there was loss in businesses , rithik might told karan , and karan have covered the expenses . That could be why only tulsi and ritihk know about this or it's also possible that mihir knows too.

Yesterday's episode Tulsi decided not to take help from Karan. 😂 good.

Nandini ne jo bhi kaha paise ko leke it will affect others. Parents ke paise pe jeene me koi farq nhi padta but yeah siblings ki kabhi na kabhi bojh laggta hai, ehsan and insecurities bhi, just the way Gautam expressed.

Sabse crazy and stupid scene was ADS in the middle of kiddos was looking weird.🙄🙄
