What felt oddly radical about Devil Wears Prada 2

Minty..i watched it coz i was sooooo madly excited after all it was part 2 of one of the most iconic movies EVER...but..what was that? i am so so disappointed..i mean they literally destroyed it..The most disappointing what they reduced Miranda to..that character was so interesting in part 1 and they literally took those traits away from her which made her what she was..everything seemed too curated, too polished, too mechanical..not even a patch on the 1st part and that is exactly why sequels are always risky..they make money but mostly they end up being disappointment..at least for me

have not seen it. but sequels are generally disappointing. didn't like the trailer much. the first one is goat.

Mintyji, you forgot to mention Madonna's Vogue and how iconic that song was. To have this song in the movie was a treat, don't you think?
