Well as far as I can remember Veer did help his Singhania siblings in burying an innocent girl like Noor. That's what made Bani hate Veer more from the depth of her heart including the deeds of Veer's past birth.
Veer had no idea that his cousins had anything to do with Noor's death and he even warned them repeatedly that he'd kill them brutally if he ever finds out they've anything to do with Noor's death.
So , it's not a case of trying to cover up a crime. Infact, it just showed from the beginning itself that beneath his mask of swagger and bravado of grey traits , he's a solid and unshakable moral core.
Veer did express regret for Noor's death and yes his grey character had more lighter shades.
Veer was shedding tears on Noor's death , something unthinkable for kites clan. Again it served to reinforce his image as a good guy.
The N7 launch event did make it clear that perhaps Ahana's accusation regarding Aryamaan being the killer was wrong.
Ofcourse it was ! There's no way in hell Aryaman can be a killer or even accomplice of a killer and still qualify as a ML. No one would accept such a character for ML.
If Aryamaan goes negative then I don't think it would sound boring.Rather it would add more layers to his overall personality making him a much more interesting ML character solely missing since N5.
If Aryaman's character takes a turn for the dark and if it's written really well and in a complex manner , yeah I agree it can be interesting.
But then he can only be a villain and never a ML of the show. Then they'll have to bring a completely new character for Ahana and show their love story. ( Not that I mind. ) Ahana can not and will not end up with a killer or a villain.
Yes Aryamaan's reformation might not undo his past actions but it could present a more interesting love/hate story between a cunning ML villain and an avenger Naagin compared to a Naagin's affair with a bland toxic ML who's busy with Radhika jaap.
If by past actions you mean the red wedding and if it was indeed him , then there can not be any possibility of a love / hate story. Only hate story. A ML can not be a cunning villain. Infact, viewers will reject any such angle and cvs won't want to destroy their own show.
In Ahana's own words, those who betrayed their own country are actually far worse than enemies from another state . And there's no coming back from that.
I have seen this routine mistrust type love stories between the couple whether its in Saas Bahu saga or even a fantasy genre like Naagin. And in such a scenario the FL character has to constantly present the proof of her integrity.
What more romantic scenes can be expected between Arhana when Aryamaan has got no logical basis to trust Ahana. She might play the saviour role for him only to expect not even a word of Thank you in return.
They do need to cut down on Radhika jaap. And in turn they need to cut down on Ahana's Aryaman jaap. Both are equally annoying and makes both the protagonist and the story weaker. She needs to focus on rooting out the terrorists and save the country. That should take precedence over any romance atp.
Rather Aryamaan's actions has only complicated Ahana's revenge mission. It won't take much time for either Bharni or Vikram to turn on Ahana then.
Aryamaan even if toxic really loves his family just look at the way he delivered on the promise to Pinky by marrying Ahana deceitfully.
That's actually a very boring angle for his character. I'd rather see him hate his family and go against them like Veer than see him support their evil mission and become a villain himself.
At the end of the day , villain kitna bhi entertaining ho ,pitega to hero ke hi hathon and then dilwale aka hero dulhaniya le jayega.
Cynical.ML's don't change their characters at the drop of a hat.Ahana even if she hates Aryamaan now she has to provide the reasons for her killing spree. Will she continue to erase Arayamaan's memory repeatedly then?
The entry of Radhika is gonna drive a further wedge between the lead couple anyway.
Aryamaan is never gonna support her and that's pretty much expected here.He might develop feelings but those are gonna get crushed by past issues and toxicity.
They've written Aryaman's character to a corner . They should've kept him as he was before red wedding, cynic but kind and relatable with some great sense of humor .
Best option would be to kill him off and bring his lookalike who'd be a true hero.
Or else they can start building up his character towards a positive direction.
