how much screen time does ahaan even have in this film? In ghar kab aaoge he has no singing parts and was shown for 2 seconds and even in this song he is shown for 2 seconds at the end, both songs are all about varun and diljit

I feel Varun can have a nice chemistry even with a tree. He does well.

Kareena was not in Border 1. She was in LOC Kargil. I know its confusing because both are war movies. Border 1 had popular heroines like Pooja Bhatt and Tabu who barely had anything to do in the movie that's why this time they cast all small actresses. Varun's costar looks like a junior artist.
