Agree with you girls. Subodh Bhave compensates with his acting skills where he lacks in personality.

I'll also give Veen Doghatli a try then since you say it's good. I wasn't very keen on the pairing so hadn't watched.

Latest Subodh's serial I watched was Tu Bhetashi Navyane. It wasn't that great. Got bored. Just over the top. Watched some episodes of Kulvadhu instead as I hadn't seen it. Then started watching Tipre for entertainment

If you watch Tula pahate re then watch its spoof episodes also on Chala hawa yeu dya. I loved those too.

BTW have you watched Unch mazha zoka? It's also a huge age difference story but yet very different.

If you ever visit ktlk forum, then read fiction written by Sujata Rao..mind blowing would be an understatement..a lot of people wrote romantic schmaltz ..others wrote about inqualabi aurat Nidhi..some others made Ashutosh a superhuman..but her???she made them characters human. None of her characters were mahaan..

Her choice of words..her phrases were phenomenal

I guess our thinking is same. I also can't put anyone on a pedestal because makers decide to do it. Art imitates life so that's what they should be doing, not showing one person absolutely helpless and another as the greatest one to have walked on this earth. A balance is essential. Exaggerated personas are anyway a paradox.
