The film, which was earlier scheduled for an August 28, 2026 release, has been pushed to December 4. The film explores the life and struggles of the iconic performer, whose stage presence made her a celebrated name in Maharashtra's folk entertainment tradition. Rather than presenting a conventional biographical story, Eetha appears to focus on the courage, sacrifice and relentless spirit that shaped her journey.

Randeep Hooda also features in a key role, while Zeeshan Ayyub's presence in the teaser adds another layer to the world surrounding Eetha.
