How Did the Director of Kapoor & Sons Get It So Wrong with Gehraiyaan?

DP gave that film her all. Like RS in RRKPK...all we sre left with is the performance. I think Ananya gained a lot from the film too.It got her good films.

We all want another Piku-sigh.Firstly,we won't get another one like that-as the cast was perfect.The story so good.Without Irrfan.it will take years for another to come along. Shoojit has aced with Sardar Udham Singh. But his other slice of life films since then, are no where near Piku.You need an excellent cast to bring out best in directors.I have seen directors go completely wrong with actors ,they don't like.You can see it ,by just the shot taking.

I loved Gehraiyaan! Loved Deepika's performance, and the way Zain-Alisha story was done.. it was really engaging.

Kapoor & Sons was like a warm hug

while Gehraiyaan was total garbage in every aspect!

Yeah I loved Deepika's performance and the songs. That's about it.
