I haven't read it yet but I hope author was trying to emphasis something else
In Love Song in Winter with 8 years gap when they meet again adter breaking up in school (yes they were 18) he said nothing much changed in 8 years. Idk if its their some kind of insider/native reference but I kinda kinda guess that's not what the authors want to convey!

Arey no! When you read it, you'll understand what reference it has. It was kind of funny for me. I felt like I was reading some granny narrate a story to her grandchild

I need guidance. I want to buy a new e-reader but my previous experiences with kindle has made me wary. My 2 kindles were ruined with display issues and I didn’t even use them much.
Want to know which e reader do you all use? Also, I stay in India. So, we have very few options here. Service centre to bhool hi jao. Should I buy an e-reader or which else device you guys think is great for reading?
Please help!

I only read on my iphone's apple books app, aur koi app pasand hi nahi aati
I have a Kindle paper white and have had it for a year. I like it fine. I did get KU for a while so that helped me get a lot of reading done but I know there are other options. I’m in Canada and people tell me Kobo is way better here because it hooks up with Libby that provides ebooks from libraries. You should dig into what e-readers work best in India based on tie-ups with ebook sites. Also, if there are options like KU available on them.I need guidance. Also, while I do a fair amount of reading on my Kindle and it’s easier on the eyes compared to an iPad or my phone, it’s also a pain to get all downloaded e-books on it and some formats (like pdf) don’t work on it. (But I’ve figured out a way now!😌)
I also have the kindle app on my phone so when I have downtime, and don’t have to remember to bring my kindle everywhere I go, I simply pull up the book i was reading on my phone kindle app. It has been working pretty well for me so far! No complaints (other than the Libby thing but for those I just read on my phone)
Thank you so much. So in India, new kindles have stopped production. The choices are far and few and I can only see refurbished ones.
I can see 3 models of Kobo on flipkart. Planning to get Kobo.
Haa even I do that :) thank you so much :)Originally posted by: heavenlybliss
