It is fun but I am most impressed by the MIL who is so not the typical saas. She is in a league of her own.

t is such a nice change because the last Green drama I watched was atrocious where the idiot took the guy back after all the domestic abuse. So I had almost given up on Green and so it nice to see a smart FL who instead makes the SFL weep instead.

I guess the hand holding is because she's wearing a dress and he's being a gentleman and helping her up and leading her through the crowd...I don't think they're in character because the patchwork jacket is all Ali

It's just pure fan service and since they seems to be very comfortable they don't mind feeding into the delusion. But let's be delulu and pass time by shipping since they are giving us what we want

In bwood holding hands and walking to the stage or walking pass a crowd ain't that big of a deal. It's mostly done for the safety of the female. They are mostly wearing very pointed high heels with long clothes or tight clothes. So they need a little help and in crowed places for literal safety. Can't trust the crowd. They might grope her or pull her towards them. So they are mostly kept closer to the director or male actor with whom she is comfortable with.
