Hassan got touchy because someone commented that they started watching the show because they'll be interviewing Ali and Anmol! LOL! They are clearly watching the show because of its popularity and their half-heartedness, lack of knowledge about the plot and semi-roasting tone is a clear proof of that.
Hassan said how can an empowered woman like mehru tolerate being thrown out of the car and demurely return home in an auto...I dont know what, according to him, an empowered woman does in situations like these? Aamna also thinks that that both leads are in love with each other.
They agree that the chemistry is fire!!!! They agree that the 2 mins scene of Shanno lifting Mehru up had more sizzle than 15 minute scene between Ammar and Sadaf from Sun Mere Dil.
Whoever this review is should watch another Green drama where the same thing happened and we got the bechari FL who was totally clueless, shaking and almost had meltdown. She was scared to go in the auto, the driver was asking questions like why did you hubby leave, she had to get money from the guard to pay and then when MIL asks why she disappeared to go to the parlour (the lie that ML told his mom), she goes along with it. Yes, goes along with and protects the abusive man. In the end, she ends up with the same abusive man who knows what reason. It was infuriating to see the lack of growth.
Here, Mehru coolly takes an auto like a pro who has done it a million times in her life. She wasn't stressed about it because she knew her way around the city. She also knows how to open her mouth. She came back cool as a feather.
She also didn't protect Shaw in any way. Instead, she dumps the info on Saman and even asks for money to pay the auto driver which makes the situation more embarrassing for Shaw and Saman. As a rich daughter-in-law, she should have enough money to pay the auto driver and here, Saman has to scramble one of the staff to make sure the guy is paid. So it is embarrassing for Saman and Shaw because the staff also know.
In that sense, it was total chess move because it turns the situation around for both mother and son. Mehru is not the one apologizing or cooking up stories to protect anyone. She also tells Shaw that she isn't some damsel in distress and she knows how to get home and this is her home. She is staking claim to the property and it will take a lot more to kick her out. She knows her rights and she isn't leaving.
So disagree with this Hassan reviewer. He needs to watch other stupid dramas with bechari FL to understand how cool Mehru is. The woman does not cry over such silly matters.
