The one thing I disagree with is that V had genuine repentance. He wants Sai but on HIS terms. The fact that he wants to pretend like nothing happened or just gloss over the past without addressing it shows that he hasn't learned any lessons AGAIN. His impatience and impulsiveness- again unchanged. What he wants should happen, everyone should believe he never meant any harm and how he is good at heart and just accept it. Sai, Vinu, P everyone should happily go along. Sai's bitter memories dont matter- she should forget it. He himself called p his mahaan bff and partner who supported him but he didn't even do her the minimum courtesy of first talking to her and giving her closure before confessing to Sai. He claims he loves Vinu but not one thought spared to prepare the child mentally for any changed dynamics. Not one effort put in to make Vinu see Sai as his aai. Zilch. Just because he now "loves" and proposed, Sai gets a 24 hour ultimatum. Kaun hai ye aadmi to dictate such things?! Who is he to set these time limits. Even if Sai had in some AU accepted his proposal, he himself cant get a clean break from P in 24 hours because he hasn't even talked to her yet. So with what audacity does this man set a damn ultimatum?! And just like every fricking time- he has decided what HE wants and claims he will handle everything - P, Vinu but he has done no planning. He's pulled this stunt of "sahi wakt" many a time now. Theres ZERO growth in this guy. Why would anyone ever trust this man. And yes Sai is backing off because V is married to another. If he was single his claims of loving only her and genuine repentance may have felt a little bit more believable and him a bit more trustworthy. But seeing him as anothers husband is a big enough reason to mistrust him and let go. So while she stresses on not breaking Vinus family with VP, in reality if she had any trust in Vs claims about fixing everything she'd have accepted. The reason she doesn't trust him is because she's been in Ps shoes as the cheated wife. Shes making it about Vinu deliberately because she does not want to talk about her residual feelings of love. Because that love is not enough reason to be with V. She'd rather talk about Vinu and his family. She's picking her peace, her self respect and Vinus happiness. As much as she'd hoped Vinu would see her as aai and come with her - now shes defeated. She still believes P is an unfit person to be a mother but if Vinu only loves her then for the sake of Vinu she'll let it be... She has no option. Maybe this is what it was always meant to be. Vinu being unlucky to never get Sai's parvarish and Sai as his aai.. its his loss, his fate.
