Brahmastra was a good movie. Drishyam had amazing cast.

PS1 was just a costume drama about which only south Indians cared. So PS1 has no comparison to above movies. It was regional movie.

PS1 has the biggest PR. I mean they were calling a regional movie a national hit, when most people from north, east and west India had not even bothered. Most people did not cared even if it had Aishwaria Rai.

Such a dumb comment .. PS1 grossed 500 crore and was universally loved

The negativity for Brahmastra was at 100000x times the level of any of these movies

Which is why any success it has had seems like propaganda

I think it’s worthwhile to note Ajay does a lot of production behind the scenes for all his movies, so he does make money off his 15 flops without taking 100 cr outright like Akshay and Hrithik. Dristyam is a hit after a pretty big series of flops, but that’s usually the case for him. A hit, then flops, then a hit again.

I doubt if he had a 'series' of flops. in last few years.
