As per Dheeraj Dhoopar it is. I hope it’s true if so. A lot of ITV shows have taken leaps with kids, separation etc. and the shows have gone for a toss because of this. Hope our show starts on a good note and end on a good note

Hope it’s a finite one with very less family drama.

ITV is still for aunties tbh. So if you actually want to have a finite series with a good plot & story you should have it on OTT.

There is no way they will off air it if it continues to get good trp

When a finite show like ek haseena thi can be a big success both online and in trp's I don't quite get why ITV does not concentrate on making more crisp and interesting finite shows with strong storylines.

There are many non-hindi language TV channels that are part & parcel of ITV for several years, so can't comment on them, as I mostly follow/consume Hindi TV content.😊

But coming to Hindi TV fiction, there are finite soaps that Sonytv usually invests in, and in recent years even Star Bharat, but its been less the case with Colors. Some of us vaguely remember reading news , seems during pre-covid times Starplus had plans to allot 8.30pm week day time slot only to crisply written finite soaps, instead of dragging successful fictions they had intention to give them break to come back as seasonal finite soaps. But obviously couldn't stick to their plans.

So let us see how this SS goes forward, as it also seems a high budget soap and very urbane. 😳 Within 2 months we can hopefully make out from the key characters progression, writing, execution how & where makers/writers & channel want to take this show, or they'll fumble to screw it.

PS.

This is a silly myth that hindi TV is mainly watched by some aunties.😛 For several years its proven with data in multiple ways and by multiple research agencies, that prime time shows of hindi GECs get watched with families, but not necessarily they prefer to watch only family dramas.
