How did K Jo come to love Alia so much? - Page 2

The fact that KJO says is Alia is a bankable star and he gets good returns on investment.

Though SRK was more than just a bankable star for him.

And really not sure what is the ROI he gets on Alia, the numbers look comical at times.

Sorry if it has been discussed before but I am curious why and how did K Jo come to love and promote Alia so much and is so fond of her? Bhatts used to bash his brand of cinema. How did he come to like his daughter if had differences with her dad?

Atleast with Kajol, Rani or SRK he had something in common like he worked with them or the Mukerji sisters belonged to same elite clan.

What did he have in common with Bhatts that he took such a fancy to Alia?

I have asked this question several times to the chants of KJo doling out movies to Alia, recommending him to the producers....making Kalank for her so that SLB can see how she looks in a period drama.....but for what.....KJo doesn't love anyone more than KJo....if Alia was his daughter ...it would make sense....but why would he throw his money and reputation an Alia or for any starkid....when now he has 2 kids of his own.....no one has an answer that makes sense...😆The only thing that makes sense is Alia getting the returns on the money that he invests on her...

KJo dropped SRK like a hot potato when he thought that SRK is doing nothing for him anymore.....now he is trying to woo SRK back?? Maybe after seeing how well Aryan is liked and how popular he has become.....maybe he is after Aryan now and wants to launch him....like I can imagine KJo salivating buckets at the thought of launching the biggest star kid out there right now.....I hope SRK understand it and gives a boot to KJo....but I don't think SRK knows who are the people with moonh mein Ram bagal mein churi....so I don't have high hopes....

KJO has been in Bollywood from 1990s. He is producer and director too. He can see who is talented and has potential to become a star. There is a difference between an actor and star.

He may have seen her potential. He gave her a chance in SOTY. He then saw her performance in highway and rest is history. In highway there is a scene where Alia's character is describing child s*xual abuse. The scene is powerful enough to be used by ministry of children welfare for awareness. Rest is history.

In an earlier interview with Anupama Chopra where he bragged about his nepotistic practices (this was before Kangana used the word 😏) he actually said when he met Alia Bhatt the fact that she was Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter fascinated him. Maybe it was an ego thing that the daughter of the anti-establishment filmmaker like Mahesh Bhatt came to him rather than her own father.

Why has he continued to support and curate her career, and build her image through his aggressive PR? I think one of the main reasons is that she listens to him. He has full control over her career in the ways that he never had over anyone else. Some of it is an ego thing for him personally. Some of it is a professional bragging rights that Dharma has produced the “greatest talent” in Bollywood. I mean, so what of her greatness is also PR manufactured. It’s all in the house anyway so more successes for Dharma. I’m sure they have genuine affection for each other as well, but the father/daughter claims are just an act. Theirs is very much a mutually beneficial professional equation. But if one falters and it screws the balance, and more than likely it will be her, she’ll go the Kareena and Kajol way.

Alia's goodwill. she is hardworking and talented . so why not

I think he has a major psychological problem with the way he gets obsessed with some people like SRK, Kajol, Alia etc. He also seems to see himself in Alia. He doesn’t seem he’s secure in himself at all and always trying to derive security from other’s relationship with him. When one breaks he finds another to shift his focus on.

At the time of ZERO....Kjo, Ranveer, Deepika and Shetty actually celebrated the failure of ZERO....but like I said.....SRK either doesn't recognize who the people with bagal mein chhuri are.....or he doesn't care anymore about them..
