The episode begins with Rio spending time with Vaishnavi on her birthday. He asks her to make a wish before cutting the cake and encourages her to enjoy the special occasion.
A flashback reveals that Rio had quietly removed Parth's name from a bouquet and arranged for it to be delivered in the name of Virani Industries. Unaware of what happened, Vaishnavi believes nobody from the family remembered her birthday.
As the celebration continues, Vaishnavi cuts the cake with Rio by her side. The moment is interrupted when Parth arrives carrying another cake. He is visibly shocked to find Vaishnavi celebrating with Rio instead of waiting for him. Unable to control his emotions, Parth questions Vaishnavi about the situation. He reminds her that he had planned something for her and had also sent a bouquet earlier.
The conversation soon turns tense. Hearing the argument, Tulsi steps in and points out that Vaishnavi may never have received the bouquet in the first place. As they discuss the matter, they discover that Vaishnavi's phone had remained switched off. Parth accuses her of not informing him, while Vaishnavi says she genuinely believed he had forgotten her birthday.
The misunderstanding grows bigger than expected. Both continue defending their positions until Tulsi intervenes again and asks them to sit together and calmly sort out their differences.
Despite her efforts, the incident leaves visible cracks in their relationship and raises concerns about how Parth is handling his emotions.
Nandini confronts Tulsi over Rio and Parth
Meanwhile, Nandini takes Tulsi aside for a private conversation. What begins as a discussion soon develops into a heated confrontation.
Nandini openly questions Tulsi's behaviour and accuses her of favouring Rio over Parth. She claims Tulsi remains silent whenever Rio is involved but is quick to question others.
Tulsi rejects the allegation and insists she has always tried to be fair with every member of the family. She reminds Nandini that the decision regarding the power of attorney was not hers alone.
According to Tulsi, the family collectively supported Rio during the process. However, Nandini refuses to accept the explanation.
She brings up Karan's contribution to the Virani family and argues that his efforts have often gone unnoticed. Nandini says Karan has repeatedly stood by the family during difficult times but has rarely received recognition in return.
Her words leave Tulsi deeply affected. She responds by saying she never realised anyone was keeping a record of sacrifices and contributions made within the family.
The conversation becomes even more emotional when Nandini accuses Tulsi of treating Rio differently because of her connection to Ansh. Tulsi firmly clarifies her position. She says she does not regret killing Ansh. However, she admits that she regrets failing to guide him properly when he needed direction the most.
Before ending the discussion, Nandini makes it clear that she will never forget how Parth lost the power of attorney despite his efforts.
Tulsi turns to Mihir as tensions rise
The confrontation leaves Tulsi worried about the future of the family. She fears that the growing resentment between family members could create deeper divisions in the days ahead.
Concerned about the situation, Tulsi decides she needs support. She calls Mihir and urges him to return to Mumbai at the earliest opportunity. Tulsi asks him to take the next available flight home, making it clear that matters at Shantiniketan are becoming increasingly difficult to manage alone.
Later, Tulsi notices Vaishnavi sitting alone and crying. Concerned about her emotional state, she approaches her and asks what is wrong. Vaishnavi breaks down and insists that she has done nothing wrong. She questions why women are often expected to justify themselves while men are excused for their behaviour.
Listening patiently, Tulsi tries to comfort her. She acknowledges Vaishnavi's pain and reassures her that her feelings are valid. At the same time, Tulsi explains that Parth is not a bad person. According to her, his biggest flaw is that he was never taught how to express disappointment or frustration without anger.
