Unpopular Opinion: Amrita Rao was the show-stealer in Main Hoon Na

I recently re watched Main Hoon Na and Amrita Rao acted best in it, IMHO. She was so convincing as the tomboy who transitions into the hottest thing on campus. She had limited scenes, but she shone in all of them.

Also she dances so well, she was damn good in dat Hawayein song.

SRK, no doubt, is the reason behind the film's success and Sushmita's sarees will always have a fan base of their own, but in terms of acting, Amrita nails it.

She is such a natural actress. I liked her in Vivaah, Main Hoon Na, Ishq Vishk, and Welcome to Sajjanpur.

Thoughts??

No way, the movie was about SRK only.

More than Amrita, Rakhi Sawant became popular.

Sushmita Sen got rave reviews.

See, it was a SRK movie in the sense he is the reason people came to watch it.

But Amrita delivered big time!

She enacted her role beautifully❤️..her acting was breezy...if i am not wrong she had more scenes and better role than Sushmitha..

Amrita's Role was similar to what Ayesha jhulka played in JJWS.

Gal falling for casanova boy, boy ignores her, she just love him.

Nothing special, simple sa role tha.

MHN belongs to Chicha SRK, he was having the key role, reason ppl came for film despite having zayed khan, and he hit udta hua chauka stadium se bahar with his performance 👏

No, for me shahrukh and sushmita stole the show in Main hoon na. Amrita was good in her own way but not a show stealer for me.

Another unpopular opinion - Sushmita was so annoying in MHN. 😵

Amrita was quite good. But show stealer is pushing it. Folks remember MHN for SRK, Sushmita, the ridiculous parody stunt scenes, the violin playing in the background, a pretty awesome villain, the whacky principal and teachers, and then somewhere down the line would feature Amrita Rao's. I am sure most of the people wouldn't even remember her character's name from the movie
