Rajeev Khandelwal REVEALS father's reaction to his many girl friends: 'Kya ladkiyo ke saat ghoomte..'

Rajeev Khandelwal is currently winning hearts as the host of Sony Entertainment Television’s newly launched reality game show Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar. The actor marks his return to television with this show, which celebrates everyday women through the “Ghar Ki Superstar Contest” on Tum Ho Naa.

During an exclusive conversation with India Forums, when asked whom he would like to say “Tum Ho Naa” to, Rajeev Khandelwal opened up about his journey, his relationships, and the role women have played in shaping his life and career.

He began by expressing gratitude towards the audience and reflecting on his journey in the industry. "Sabse pehle aap sabko kehna chahunga main. Actually, I have survived for this long, I think, in this industry, and I have been here. Main aaj bhi hoon khada hoon kyunki tum ho na, aur yeh show bhi main kar raha hoon kyunki tum ho na. Is show mein aap hero hain. Aap hi mein se kuch superstars yahan par aayengi aur woh yahan par aakar is show mein participate karengi. Aapke baad ya aapke pehle meri mummy thi. Ab meri wife bhi hain, jo mujhe, jo jinhe main kehna chahunga ki main hoon kyunki tum ho na."

Speaking further, he highlighted the importance of women in his life and how they have influenced him since childhood. "So meri life mein women ne bahut important role play kiya hai, bahut jagah pe. I think right from my childhood, I remember meri jo best friends thi woh sab ladkiyan thi. Mera circle ladkon se zyada ladkiyon ka tha, isliye kabhi kabhi papa se daant bhi padti thi ki kya ladkiyon ke saath ghoomte rehte ho tum saare time."

He then went on to reflect on how this continued throughout his life, from friendships to his professional journey, and expressed gratitude for all the women who contributed to his growth.

"Toh, I think there uske baad main aage badhta gaya life mein. Friends bani, college mein jo friends thi woh ladkiyan thi. Mera pehla show jo tha woh Ekta, woh bhi ladkiyan hai, you know, mahila thi. Phir maine baad mein bhi ek aur show kiya, Reporters, woh bhi producer mahila thi. Left Right Left kiya, Tony diya bhi. So and then mum, my friends, meri maami, meri nani, so are plenty of women who have contributed in the making of Rajeev."

He concluded by expressing heartfelt gratitude and hoping that the women who appear on the show are celebrated in the same way.

"I am grateful to all of them. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart to all of them. So yes, aur ab aap logon ki zindagi mein se koi aapki Tum Ho Na hamare show par aayengi. So let’s hope that they are celebrated as much as I want their life to be celebrated."
