Lol she really puts me off, so ungrateful. Apart from that.. I am non-veg but dont have pork or seafood and even for me it was a struggle in Italy as their cuisine is very pork/fish focused. Regardless, they're very friendly and welcoming people so if you request them for a veg option they'd be more than willing.

Vegetarianism is a huge stumbling block sometimes but I am thankful that I get to travel. It becomes frustrating to explain when they keep suggesting chicken, seafood and egg as options.There were days when I get by with fruits, cereal and fruit juices. But it was all worth it, always!!

When I go for a 7 star luxury Villa though, I expect them to reach out and satisfy my dietary requirements. I am sure Mira wasn’t the first vegetarian guest they have ever had. It looks like negligence from their side.

Yes a big problem in North America to find vegetarian food.

Even candies, chocolates, yoghurt, gummies etc have eggs and gelatin. Gelatin can be of pork, beef or fish.

They may say it's vegan, and also say that it may contain eggs or meat.

lol here we go criticizing people without doing our own research. Do you know she did not do her research? Do you know that the hotel just didn't simply eff up? or misrepresent something or misunderstand her requirements when taking her reservation? Would this be the first time service in any hotel, however elite or exotic it may be, has not sucked? Don't people taking reservations ever make mistakes? Didn't someone ever eff up on your order? 😉

it's great she let people know that this hotel did not live up to standards. It's called doing a "review". 😆

we should support Indian travelers and Indians in general in other countries, not be looking to trash them because they are leading lives most people can only dream of. As it turns out, it's only Indians- ABCD's or others- who trash their own. Sad.😉

Shahid and Meera are sat sangis. They don't need free hotel stays. It's a pretty sick thing to even be suggesting that. 😉

And what are some people so het up about? That they are vegans? It's actually a pretty healthy dietary choice... and better for the environment too than the meat shit that needs a lot of water and pollutants to feed. You'd live longer too without all that meat crap clogging your arteries. Try it.😆

In one of her rants she had actually said that she had informed the hotel of her vegan diets. Excuse me! You don’t inform the hotel. You ask the hotel if they offer a vegan menu. This is the epitome of entitlement. And she’s not just a vegetarian. I think she’s also a vegan and vegan menus are not as common no matter where you are. This was absolutely on her to research and find the right place rather than expecting the world to accommodate her.

lol let's not be looking for random stuff to criticize. What you are talking about is just cute semantics. 😉For eg, when making airline reservations, one just tells them one's requirement. If they don't serve vegan, they should/ will just tell us. They should not take our money and then not deliver.

by the way, for a bunch that's always whining about everyone and everything, it's rich that folks are criticizing them. You'd think that no one has ever had trouble with hotel reservations or restaurant food or some other order😆

Veganism gets bad press, people jump to their conclusions where it's concerned.

Of course it must have been those damn vegans being demanding.

People used to say/think the same about vegetarians 50 years back.

You don't ask, you don't get. You don't make a fuss, you don't get heard.

So lot of people recognize there's cheese on her plate.. still y is everyone going on n on about her being vegan? What's the definition of vegan..pls educate me..did I get it all wrong?
