Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2: Rio unknowingly shocks Nandini after questioning her about Ansh’s death

The episode opens with Tulsi calling Ajay’s mother to ask whether they are ready to leave for the wedding ceremony. Ajay’s mother says they are on the way and tries to emotionally prepare Ajay for the function. She reminds him how Pari risked herself to save Sunny without thinking twice about her own safety. Listening to this, Ajay finally agrees to accompany them after Sunny insists that he should come along.

Meanwhile, Rio remains disturbed by his recent conversation with Karan. He recalls how Karan distracted him whenever Ansh’s death was discussed and how he made him promise not to ask questions again. His doubts continue growing stronger.

At home, Niyati enters the room while Rio casually questions her about his name. He asks why she named him Rio and not something connected to Ansh, even saying “Ansh Virani” aloud. The moment instantly changes Niyati’s expression. The popcorn bowl slips from her hand as she panics hearing Ansh’s name.

At the same time, a gunshot scene appears on television. Niyati becomes even more disturbed and immediately asks Rio to switch off the TV. Rio quickly calms her down as she struggles to regain control of her emotions. While comforting her, Rio silently notices how strongly she reacted both to Ansh’s name and the gunshot scene. He becomes convinced that something major is being hidden from him and decides that he will uncover the truth today itself.

Elsewhere, wedding rituals begin for Pari and Aryan. Just as they are about to exchange varmala, Tulsi stops the ceremony and says they must first seek blessings at the temple before moving ahead with the marriage rituals.

Ajay watches Pari quietly from a distance, visibly heartbroken while seeing her dressed as a bride. During the ceremony, Pari’s dupatta accidentally gets stuck in Ajay’s kurta. Pari tries removing it herself but struggles. Aryan notices the awkward moment and calmly steps forward to untangle the fabric himself. Ajay later compliments Pari and Aryan’s pairing despite clearly struggling emotionally within himself.

Rio enters disguised as an old man

On the other side, Rio decides to enter Shantiniketan secretly to search for answers. He disguises himself as an elderly man so nobody recognises him easily. When the watchman initially stops him at the entrance, Rio gives excuses and manages to convince him to allow entry inside the house.

Back at the wedding venue, Pari and Aryan finally sit in the mandap as rituals move forward. Around the same time, Rio enters Shantiniketan in disguise. Tulsi notices him standing near the entrance but does not recognise him. However, Rio remembers Tulsi from the earlier incident when she had slapped Karan after his return from abroad.

Tulsi politely asks Shobha to welcome the elderly guest without suspecting his real identity. Meanwhile, Aryan quietly asks Pari whether she is genuinely happy with the marriage. Pari replies that she is grateful for how Aryan supported her during the court case and stood by her through difficult situations.

At the same time, Rio notices Nandini and immediately recognises her as Karan’s wife. Ajay, meanwhile, appears emotionally shattered watching the wedding rituals continue. Unable to control his emotions, he quietly walks away from the mandap area while the ceremony progresses further.

Tulsi also notices the emotional tension between Pari and Ajay. Though neither openly says anything, she observes their lingering emotions and growing discomfort.

Rio reveals his identity, leaving Nandini terrified

The episode takes a dramatic turn when Nandini accidentally bumps into Rio without recognising him behind the disguise. Politely, she asks whether he needs anything.

Rio calmly responds that he wants information about Ansh Virani. The question instantly shocks Nandini. She asks why he suddenly wants to know about Ansh. At that moment, Rio removes his fake beard and reveals his identity, saying, “Main Ansh Virani ka beta hoon.”

Nandini is left completely shaken hearing those words. Memories from the past begin flashing before her eyes, leaving her terrified and emotionally unstable.

Meanwhile, Aryan suddenly interrupts the wedding rituals and tells the pandit that he needs to briefly leave for the washroom before returning.

Back at Shantiniketan, Nandini starts shouting in panic after recognising Rio. Rio quickly covers her mouth and asks why everyone reacts strangely whenever Ansh’s name is mentioned. He questions why Karan also refused to tell him the truth and demands answers about what the family is hiding.

Terrified, Nandini runs away from the spot. Rio watches her leave and firmly vows that he will uncover the full truth about Ansh Virani no matter what happens next.
