Is it necessary?

Sorry I was compelled to make this post today!!! Wanna post it since the reunion day

Anupama as a show was always realistic than other shows. The words like tax, loans, maids, divorce, food, then whether you should live in a joint family or not. Has always made this show more relatable than others. I understand that in this show before the entry of Anuj Kapadia the forum was less active, but all of us we had a hilarious discussions over here regarding food and maid and what not.

Here the characters or story might not be relatable, as for the first time Anupama stayed in the same house after the divorce. But in order to show the connection in the story, they made her stay in the house. It was all an emotional blackmail of Bapuji. At some point of time we all feel unrealistic in the show. I know the show hasn't given realistic solutions to the real problems, but atleast it has addressed the problems. The forum wasn't active then

With the entry of Anuj Kapadia people especially here are discussing about the show much more now. Even I am loving the show after his entry. Nahi to hamara forum bichara mara hua pada tha 😆 (My old forum people I miss our hilarious talks) Just after Advait's entry I loved the show more, because we are tired seeing the same characters every now and then. So it's a breath of fresh air for us to watch Anuj...

Is it necessary always for the show to bring a romantic angle for a show to be loved?. Romantic angle Ok, but why always a flawless and a rich guy is needed for a show to be discussed? A rich guy will marry the abuse victim and then the lead will progress is something what I have seen before also. And people will definitely love Anuj. Even I do love Anuj. But why only rich, Anuj and Anupama can achieve something together also.

I was in for the story because they were show middle class life struggles. Love life was a secondary thing for me atleast in televsion. Two leads sharing a cute scene is nice, it happens in every show, but two leads facing real problems in much relatable But every story is it necessary to show a rich guy? And a handsome man always for the victim. Anupama deserves all the love but her love life can be something different.

Buddy, my humble opinion is , we all know anuj kapadiya loved anu and is still loving her and will continue to do so.

If he had to leave for states and progresses in his life and makes a career for himself well we cannot be not okay with it right...

Even if he is rich and marries anu 🤞🤞 , it is not like he wld let her settle with his money and wld suppress her dreams to achieve something on her own.

I am sure he wld never influence or control her life with his wealth nor wld pause or break her dreams.

All he want is to give her love and i am sure they wld show their lives together practically too.

I agree ..why not an old friend like Devika helping her fight all the shit and then she falling for a normal decent man .. maybe a widower with grownup kids or divorcee with past of his own or a person who had many responsibility hence remained single .

Normal middleclass humans finding love again

I know a few real life examples.

One uncle in 55s married his sons secretary a lady who was 45. Uncle was a bank clerk and his son a manager in a private company.Her father died when she was 20 and she had 3 younger siblings by the time they got settled she was too old. Uncles sis and she were friends and they met in one of the yoga class and became friends. Uncles son was supportive. She has a good relationship with her son and DIL.

Another both lost spouses one due to cancer another due to accident both prof in a dental college. He had only a daughter who was already married about 50 he was and she was 45 with a son who had just joined engineering. Both kids encouraged the match. And now even they are happy

Anuj is not like that who will help Anupama with his money. He himself is telling that Anupama doesn't needs a woman to grow...

But in reality i doubt whether a story like MaAn exists.

The story revolves around the fact that Anupama was promised one thing later it was thwarted and he was reduced to a glorified maid. Baa never treated her as worthy, Vanraj thought she didnt have class and this influenced the way P2 looked upon their mother.

As Bapuji summed up to Samar she may have had other things but never had unconditional love. She never had the right to even voice an opinion. Nobody remembered her birthday or realise she was missing in the family picture of her son's engagement.

Baa and Vanraj treated her and her family as lesser mortals and having had a difficult childhood even now her conversations around what she buys for herself revolves around the price.

For someone to be valued and cherished the way Anuj does is necessary especially to put someone like Kavya and Vanraj who attach so much importance to appearance but think inherent goodness is of no worth in their place.

Rakhee and her Son in law too will be silenced .Rags to riches s a very popular theme be it stories, soaps or movies . If Kinjal can fall for a useless Paritosh why is that we question a man like Anuj who became the tycoon he is because of unrequited love?

I have friends who were unable to marry in their youth marrying in middle age.

Anju you were in the forum before also...But the forum activity has only increased because of the rich guy. I wonder in real life does any guy wait for the lady love for 26 years? Thats a big question. We learn to move on. I have never seen anyone waiting for so long

To find love is good, second marriages should happen if circumstances demand so. But Anuj waiting for Anupama is a little bit illogical.

Bolded lines: I wanted Anuj to be a this type of guy...Suddenly a prince charming and all. Is something I can't digest.

I am enjoying my MaAn 😆 as it is a television ofcourse. I also want them to be united.

But why always a rich guy impresses people and handsome man impresses people? This story showed a middle life struggles but now why a lead has to marry a rich guy

No yaar .. Anupama became too mahan with her in-laws . It became too toxic. We watch for entertainment more that that it made me mad especially when in our fam. They discuss how right and great she is since this is the only one they watch . How can anyone justify her need for acceptance of her in-laws for speaking or not speaking to her friends. It makes me feel sad when.ambitious and modern thinking is tries be shown wrong.

Even one of my fav character Kinju baby is becoming anu 2.0 . Hence I stopped watching

After anuj entry he is pretty savage decent nice yet he knows to put peeps in their place when they misbehave. Does not take.a decision to favour anu but decides to discuss proposal with team. Mix of practical and emo.

Values his job and his emo also.

Well yes I know someone who never married . He was 24 when he got engaged and his fiance died in a road accident. They were college sweethearts. To date at 42 he is not married

But he did adopt 2 siblings who were below 5 when their parents died some far off relative. His ma and SIL help him with the kids. He has a great job which he works out of home mostly.

I have seen real life ki do logon ne pyaar mein aakar bhaag ke shaadi kar ki but un logon ki naukri nahin lagi thi aur woh naukri dhood rahe they. To jub main real life mein is tarah ke condtion dekhti hoon to mujhe yeh romance yeh hot dashing chemistry couple story mein samajh nahin aata,. I always prefer watching those serial jo hame life ke real bitterness ke baare mein bhi show kare. I am glad anupama is one of them. Khuch to alag dekhne ko mil raha hai warna wahi serial mein eyes lock ankle mein payal pehnana khaana banate samay ek doosre ko aata, lagane baarish mein bhigana aur bus plannig plotting dekhna to man mein yahi irritating lagta tha ki serial bus yahi romance planning plotting dekhein

It is nice anupama ek aisa show jo romance pe jyaada focus na karke jo most of house wife jo ghar mein face karti hai usme focus kiya khuch to cvs ne awarenes jagayi if not completely. Mujhe to har times romance dekhna irritating lagta hai ki bus yahi story reh gayi writer aur khuch naya nahin dikhane ke liye except romance? Ek aisa serial jisme se hum kuch seekh sake character ko. Feel kar sake character ke problem se connect kar sake aisi koi story nahin hai and finally anupama is there

Atleast jo serial do chaar, 8 year tuk chal rahe hain use ro main bus romance ke liye nahin dekhoongi. Romance hi dekhna hota to ise bhadiya mein koi romancnti fimi gana ya romantic movie hi dekh like kajol aur sharukh ki movie dekh loon loon but serial jo aamtor pe roj aata hai to usme bus main romance nahin dekhoongi

Mujhe to Boring lagega agar serial mein roj roj bus romance hi dikhaye

They actually clarified in his talks with Devika that Anuj met a lot of girls in US, dated them, just never felt for them as strongly as he did for Anu. Maybe people don't wait that long in real, but then we do have stories like Tata who didn't marry his whole life and is a rich guy..
