If she wants praise then how about improving her act? She's been in the industry for 20 years and she can still barely act. How about improving your craft? You're not good at your work. People like you only because you're beautiful and have fair skin.

If you want so much praise then how about doing something praiseworthy Lol? Why should someone praise you just because you feel entitled to be praised? Zabardasti hain kya?

I am surprised that there are not more women here who can empathize with her honestly; I know lots of women in different professions with some of the same underlying resentments. She is extremely successful but constantly minimized and after many years in the business she is pushing back gently. I do think she is annoyed but not really angry - she goes on to praise SRK in specific detail for how he was a great costar (she gave him exactly the kind of praise she asked of him). She has probably worked hard on this film and surely there was something she did or some quality of hers he might have noticed and appreciated as she did for him. Instead he, like so many others, will put her name and face on the poster and use her to promote - things clearly indicating her value - and then barely acknowledge her. I do not work in entertainment but I know exactly what this feels like.

Since when is putting words ins someone's mouth or begging for praise being honest. Its beyond pathetic. Appreciation comes only where its due.

I thought she was just ribbing at first based on the clip but I was bored and saw the press conference. She was rude and uppity from right from the beginning. SRK makes an opening speech and then tells the journalists to ask questions to Katrina and Anushka. There is dead silence in the room because they only want to talk to SRK. He asks them again and again to ask questions to the girls but they won't. So he starts taking questions himself.

Katrina tries to say something at one point but it turns out her mic is off. So she says SRK just wants them to be props who sit at his side and not talk. She's given a new mic and she talks for a while and in the middle all the journos start laughing. So she accuses SRK that he must have made some expressions to make them laugh.

Later they ask Anushka/Katrina what they liked about working with SRK. Anu gives a nice answer and then ends it by saying he smells really good and everyone should sniff him. Kat doesn't want to answer and there is a long silence where she's practically rolling her eyes. Then she finally talks about how gentlemanly he is and how he opens doors and stands up when you walk into a room and how when it was cold, he would make sure to get her a jacket or blanket.

There is another question asked to SRK.. something related to his education and college. Kat acts like he's lying and interrupts in the middle to say she needs to see these certificates. If I was SRK, I would have been fully annoyed by this point. He passes it off as a joke and says, "They're on the net. I'm well-educated. I can talk English, I can walk English..."

There's another moment when the journalists ask Katrina to speak in Hindi and she refuses. SRK says she can speak in English and he'll translate to Hindi for them and she gets upset about that too. 🤣

And this is only half the press conference. I haven't even seen the other half. I'll report back when I watch it.

I think this was when she was still dating Salman and he and SRK weren't getting along. She's probably proving her loyalty to Bhai. She is just obnoxious here, it's incredible.

Normally it's Anushka who gets accused of being snooty but she comes across so warm and sweet in this press conference. Kat is so arrogant here. I guess she's calmed down over the years. Anushka says that he makes a great romantic hero and the thing she loves most is when he puts the heroine's hair behind her ear. Kat jumps in to say "I wouldn't know. " 🤣

I'm watching the rest of the video and SRK didn't just call her gentle either. He says so much more. He says she's gentle, calls her a big star who wears her stardom easily, and calls her beautiful multiple times. He says he's seen her in Singh is King and Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara and a few others. She puts him on the spot and asks him to name the other films.

How is she putting words in his mouth? Which words would those be? She was letting him know she didn’t appreciate him giving a one word answer (gentle) compared with his answer for Anushka. She also implies that he changes his story a lot - as in maybe he says much nicer things to her/about her on set but only “gentle” in a room full of reporters. I have seen SRK be an arrogant pretentious ass, and SRK mock other actors at award shows “for laughs”, and fans be absolutely fine with it. It is 100% true that people (male and female) have trouble viewing an assertive woman as anything but a bitch because we have been conditioned to believe women should always be supportive and subservient.

Bottom line. SRK has the power to choose who he works with and who he doesn’t. How pathetic do you find him for wanting someone you find “beyond pathetic” in his film? How low the mighty SRK has fallen, having to work with such a loser as Katrina LOL
