Who was the more toxic partner/lover?

IMO, they were both toxic characters who were horrible romantic partners. But, who takes the cake?🤓

Both Devdas and Kabir Singh were really toxic but I found Kabir Singh's girlfriend also highly problematic. Comparatively, Paro was much better.

I'm not sure who takes the cake though. What redeeming factors did Devdas and Kabir really have? Both were equally bad.

It's funny that they both have become an icon of "truuu lub" in Indian pop culture with huge female following but can you actually imagine being in relationship with either of them.

Devdas was much more self destructive. Whereas, Kabir Singh is toxic and self destructive.

It's so hard to pick between these two, like which poison is worse😆. Devdas starts out somewhat okay but gets toxic over time and remains a jerk all throughout the relationship. Kabir starts out in a much worse position than Devdas (stalker, a high functioning, smart gunda) but in the middle when they are all in love he is a pretty good partner to her. The stable part of their relationship is much healthier than whatever Dev and Paro had. Then Kabir becomes gross again when the drama starts.

I pick Devdas as more toxic overall. He never finds his way unlike Kabir. His arrogance in the relationship was pathetic. Arrogance is never okay but at least Kabir was brilliant on his own without his dad's wealth. Also Devdas never really seemed to care for Paro in my opinion. Kabir's way of caring was messed up but for most of the movie it is clear that he can't see Preeti in pain. Dev seemed to be some sort of sadist who got pleasure out of hurting Paro.

Devdas wasnt abusive women beater or a molester. He was much better than KS but both were Toxic. Paro was equally toxic whereas Preeti was a simpleton

Sad part is many women are in relationships like these😒
