because Bollywood is still stuck to the era where misogyny, Eve teasing , stalking , homophobia was considered funny

Bollywood had some decent non-slapstick comedies in 2019. Good Newwz was lots of fun. If Chhichhore can fall under this genre, then that was also good. Even Luka Chuppi and Pati Patni Aur Woh were decent.

That's was an awfully directed movie . I left that in between. The scenes were out of the place and it was looking like a c grade movie

My favorite bollywood comedy movie if ever there was one is Hungama. It still makes me LOL when I watch it. Paresh Rawal is brilliant there and the situational comedy is beyond hilarious. That's followed closely by Chachi 420, Hera Pheri, Malamaal Weekly, OMG, Dream Girl, etc. The black comedy in Andhadhun was impressive too.

You know the kind of "comedy" that makes me cringe? Houseful and Golmaal are not my cup of tea at all. I don't find them entertaining or humorous in the slightest. It's just too much meaningless drivel to process in one sitting.
