Also, I doubt in any case EMA could have been accepted as easily as it has been in Shah family. But, given the current scenario as per CVS, if Rakhi would have had no issues with Shah family, she would have been like Nandini or Kinjal requesting kids to forgive Vee.
Eh.. as much as I remember Rakhi did not have the issue about Anupama being less educated, but more about how the husband and son pretty much downplayed her and forwarded Kavya when they came to meet the family. Her displeasure was mostly how Anupama was reduced to a maid in the house and if they will treat Kinjal similarly.
Also it was quite ironic how Kinjal asked Baa and Bapuji to do Kanyadaan and people defended it by saying a couple needs to do the ritual, and in today's episode Anupama went ahead and did the rituals of groom's parents alone. So Anu doesn't have any such conservations about doing rituals alone or along with Vanraj.. but Rakhi couldn't..
