He might be enamored but whatever they shared was too short lived to develop into love. It might have hurt his ego but surely it wasn't what changed him. The change was a slow process and I have observed since 2015 ( even before he broke up with Ankita) I will still not understand how he seemingly moved on quickly from his two serious relationships because he looked like a sensitive and emotional guy so him appearing so unaffected is odd. The Sushant I knew ( or I feel I knew) would have surely been affected by his broken relationships he just bottled it up.

I was reading an old interview of Sush and Ankita and I saw how genuinely in love they both were. While most only talk about Ankita supporting him, they forget to mention that even Sush did a lot for her, he taught her so many things, guided her and gave her the same adoration and respect she did. So more than him breaking up with her I was more surprised by his way of handling it ( completely distancing himself, this is something he did with Kriti too). I do feel somewhere even he didn't get away unscathed from the break ups

Having said all this, there was still so much more to him than his love life.

Of course there was more to him that his love life.. but in a cut throat industry like BW, emotional support of a partner/family keeps you grounded and that's what seemed to be missing with Sushant.. of course his family loved him but they were all living away, having their own life..

Sushant didn't really handle any of his breakups well..

I don't think he loved Sara.. as I said I feel he was awestruck and thus his ego was jolted when he was replaced with Kartik.. and maybe a his bottled up feelings with his previous breakups, metoo and a lot more just burst open

I think Sushant Ankita relationship was wholesome.. they both supported each other.. I am assuming same was with Kriti even though that one did not last long

PS. All of this is our assumption.. I don't claim it to be the truth.. just what I drew from the very little we saw of his life in public.. the reality can be completely different

Did he even date Sara or they were together just for the promotion?

He was an emotionally strong person, doesn't seem like one to break with a single failure in life. Having said that, failures do affect everyone. Everyone deals with it in their own way and come out of it. If he did seem broken, i would say he was as broken as anybody would ever be after facing failure.

Sushant didn't seem to be sad or broken to me in any of his interviews or appearances ever. He just seems to be a very very intelligent guy, and beyond understanding for many. That's why he kept saying that he wants to be understood.

depressed people don't have to appear sad or broken, anyone can commit can suicide. robin Williams was the happiest looking person around.

The topic is about do we think that the failure broke him. How are we supposed to know that? We can only say what we see. That's what i said, he didn't seem sad or broken to me. The topic is not about depression, so no need to insert depression in any random topic.

The problem with people here is they know too much about depression. So i want to tell them that everyone who dies need not be in depression.

Yeah I agree he was enamored totally and in awe of her. And the reason he seemed dimmed out during Kedarnath promotions was because he was still dealing with the aftermath of the MeToo allegations. Everywhere he was asked to address it while Sara was coming off excited and full of beans because it was her debut. So the difference in energy levels was obvious.
