Did Raabta failing break SSR?

He was a really good actor before that movie but after that movie a change in his behaviour was noted and even his acting style and made some really stupid career choices

He signed big projects before Raabta released. Most of them never took off. I don't think it was because of failure of the film but because of the negative press he got. The amount of toxicity against him in media and probably within the industry affected him. Unlike Nepo kids and people with good connections, he didn't have anybody to guide him and also didn't have a strong support system. Can't exactly say what happened and what he experienced but yeah with every passing year he kept losing his spark and happy spirit. He still kept trying to pull himself together by focusing on his dreams but he was surrounded by people who didn't care and kept using him.

the man was on a high and he sucks at romantic roles. I saw Raabta and it was such a try-hard performance from him. His facial gestures and part of his acting were like he was mimicking SRK. He did the same in DB.

That film was at a time when everything was happening for him. Just left Ankita and went for Kriti and all that.

Raanta definitely broke him first. It was supposed to be the movie that would catapult him into urbane and romantic roles, because till then he had been stereotyped a little, it would also have established him and Kriti as an IT couple and on paper it seemed like a 'masala' film with songs romance and rebirth and Homi Adajania who does sometimes make cool films

And since then he seemed off.

Rabbta was actually a wrong choice from where his downfall began , he got in 2 a verbal argument with a media person in press conference during press conference , later fight with sooraj Pancholi in salman's birthday party , after what happened everyone know.

His personal life was not stable which start effecting his professional life also. If I m right kedarnath was not bad , so do chichore but ssr never got appreciation from bollywood which did pinched him .

But Shekhar kapoor paani film hurted him d most & broke him, he invested so much 4 this film but end this film dint made. YRF has role in it .

SLB approaches ssr thrice 4 ram leela, Bajirao mastani & padmavat but he was already booked 4 paani , be could do these films.

I will not say ankita was best 4 ssr but after ankita women came in ssr life were bad choice

His film choices were a mix. Some offs and some good choices. Chhichhore was appreciated by the critics and audience both. Imo it is the best film in his filmography. Sonchiriya is held highly by the critics. Kedarnath was a decent choice. And he went wrong with Raabta, DB and Drive script wise.

I mean Chhichhore was the biggest hit of his career. Yay sure stupid. 😆

P.S- Just coz he passed away tragically , doesn't mean everything has to be seen through a weird scanner. So every actor who make bad film choices are what ? High ? lol ! Kuch bhi matlab!
