Did Raabta failing break SSR? - Page 3

Among the younger lot, I am more a fan of Varun Dhawan, Prateik Babbar. Just not a fan of SSR as an actor-but I don't like Ranbir kapoor, Ranvir Singh as actors either . He had so much potential-but such is life.

I don’t think the failure of Raabta initially broke him. I do remember him becoming much more bitter and angry once talks about Paani went through. After that, he was definitely much more cynical.

Considering that Paani was on a 15+ year path of planning and not happening, it would be surprising if an industry veteran by that point would turn cynical by it not happening - again.

Reportedly in some of the family statements to the Mumbai police he wanted to leave acting in 2013 - that was the year he offered Paani which didn't fall through for him until 2015. Also they reportedly stated that as far back as 2009 he told his family he wasn't feeling right.

There was a lot more going on with him outside his career and the romantic relationships in his life. They might have exacerbated his problems but they don't look to be the core issues.

His last film at the time of his death was a BLOCKBUSTER. You really think he’s gonna be depressed and kill himself over a flop he had 3 years ago??

Fine. Defend away😆 I was looking at a few previous videos of the guy and I noticed a change in post Kedarnath.. So I feel his fling with Sara was the changing point.. of course I can't be sure but that's what I got from the vids I saw.. In all his previous relationships, he is the one who broke up and moved on in a jiffy.. but he couldn't bear someone else breaking up with him and moving on so quickly so that was the emotional setback for him

He started dating sara around kedarnath promotions I guess but the change was evident even back when he wasn't dating her. I don't know how much he was into her or vice versa but if you see Sushant's interviews with Sara during kedarnath he looks so over it, as if he wants to run away, that's the reason I was quite surprised to know that he liked her, I thought he hated her. I Have seen Sushant in love, he loves teasing his girls and cracking stupid jokes as they playfully hit him. If you ever see his old interviews with Ankita or aleven Kriti you will see what a goof he was and his comfort level with those two is also visible, I never saw that kind of comfort with Sara or any other actress.

I do think Sara breaking up hurt him but I don't think he became devdas for her.

To me, it looked like he was in awe of Sara.. like you know enamored kind.. so her breaking up with him and gushing about Kartik was like a jolt to his ego

Yeah, looking at videos of the guy and assuming how he was broken n all o that shit isnt exactly going to help here. Only those who know him personally know what he was going through or those who lived with him.

The man was murdered.

Maybe he was,maybe he wasn't.. I am in no position to determine the cause of his death since I am not privy to information that can help me make up my mind in this regard.. I will leave that to the law enforcement agencies

He might be enamored but whatever they shared was too short lived to develop into love. It might have hurt his ego but surely it wasn't what changed him. The change was a slow process and I have observed since 2015 ( even before he broke up with Ankita) I will still not understand how he seemingly moved on quickly from his two serious relationships because he looked like a sensitive and emotional guy so him appearing so unaffected is odd. The Sushant I knew ( or I feel I knew) would have surely been affected by his broken relationships he just bottled it up.

I was reading an old interview of Sush and Ankita and I saw how genuinely in love they both were. While most only talk about Ankita supporting him, they forget to mention that even Sush did a lot for her, he taught her so many things, guided her and gave her the same adoration and respect she did. So more than him breaking up with her I was more surprised by his way of handling it ( completely distancing himself, this is something he did with Kriti too). I do feel somewhere even he didn't get away unscathed from the break ups

Having said all this, there was still so much more to him than his love life.
