You know he was constantly mocked by his contemporaries, called overrated and not so good looking ( I know it wasn't intentional and was just done in light fun) but there isn't a single interview of him where he is even jokingly demeaning someone or something. Such questions and situations can be dealt respectfully without hurting someone or their fans.

I know opinions on a person's looks are subjective but I could never understand why he was called 'not good looking'. According to me he had very good features that 'conventional' good looks demand like a straight sharp nose and a sharp jawline etc. He also had bright eyes and a charming smile. If he wasn't considered good looking why would he have been chosen for the Kendall Jenner shoot?

Yeah even though he was majorily critical about himself, he did not participate in any kind of mud slinging. Infact in case he was in a situation where he had to make fun of some other actor or medium, he would always praise the other. He did not have anything bad to speak about someone else.

To think why he would never have been suited in a Koffee With Karan format. Too uncomfortable for himself, commenting on someone's face, appearance, fashion sense, accent, dialect, english.. he was not that person at all.

I had stayed away from this forum for a good while. Sushant has got me back and this time I dont have anything to look forward to , other than probably some answers of whats and whys.

He was one of the very few who never dismissed TV , even after being famous than all the other contemporaries who tried films. You know TV actors have to work so very much, especially if you are leads and famous.16-18 hrs a day and then there are continuous award shows and all. The directors script writers they dont have time to come up with best content. Thats why the shows have their best moments in the beginning only, because those are the nuances that has been taken care off. Later on it all becomes a rat race. Scenes are written sometimes few hrs before the airing time. They have these mahaepisodes and what not. One can ridicule television as much as they can , but they have limited time and resource to show case their talent. They dont have time to perfect direction , perfect their act., dance, editing and yet they at times can give good episodes .Heck even Amitabh got his career revived on TV.

Also I remember Sushant and ANkita were face of the channel throughout the time he was playing Manav. SO they had to be on all shows and perform in every award shows , to garner as much as they could. Also Sushant did two reality shows, along with playing the lead character, where he had to be seen everyday.

I am glad Sushant never ridiculed any medium that helped him climb up..even in his hey days in bollywood and did not just remember the importance of TV only when things went wrong for them in the movie industry. Thats what makes me respect him even more.
