Her falling in love can be a co-incidence.

But so many imported white female stars and ZERO imported white male stars can never be a co-incidence.

Indians do not want Caucasian skin tone regardless of the British. Nobody cares for skin like Nicole Kidman or Neil Nitin Mukesh in India. They just like fair desi skin which is different from the actual white of the Brits.

Up until very very recently, nobody liked light eyes either. Among the older generations, there is still a stereotype that people with light eyes are cunning and evil. People like my grandparents still believe it. It's only with people like Aish and Hrithik that lighter eyes became beloved.

Yeah, agreed. But they mainly like fair desi skin, not the type of skin an actual white person has. The only reason Kat is accepted is that she is dark by white people standards. She can easily pass for a fair Indian girl. There's a big difference in how she looks compared to someone like Nicole Kidman.
