I have said that one day i wanted Mini to confront Babita about the jewellery returning thing, the alimony returning & the slap in front of ashok thing. An we get that today. All these decisions have affected mini in a negative way.

But no Babitas ego is still intact, she in return blamed mini for staying in the loveless marriage with ashok 😡 where as it was babita who had put blinders on and Mini had to make her walk out of it. Naim bi was so right babita stayed in the marriage because she did not know & was insecure of where she would go. She was not strong enough to take care of mini & herself alone. Somewhere when Babita was telling all this i saw more of disbelief on minis face than guilt it was like even mini could see that she was conveniently putting blame on her & im glad naim bi stopped her at the right time before she could inflict more damage to mini.

i just wish mini has brought up how she had to let go of her dream college for babita . How she has had to become a mother to babita. If babita stayed with ashok then it was for herself also but here mini has sacrificed only for her .

Im not sure but i remember the psychologist telling babita on the lines of about how a child can blame self for his/her existence for her parent staying in a loveless marriage and babita did exactly that😒👎🏼

Minni would never do that because she accepts responsibility for her own actions and decisions and moves on. She is a strong straight forward girl. Not like Babita who would never accept responsibility for her actions and decisions. For her the fault always lies elsewhere. Never in her. No sir, she is irreproachable! 😡

After the apology scene...today I'm watching patiala babaes for the third time due to Naiembi Minnie and HS ki dhain ki performances....

I'm now actually getting annoyed with babes today even she in her ego made Minnie feel guilty about herself...but thanks to Naiembi everything got cleared...

But seeing her big big ego it will surely rise again and create a big hevoc in there life...and this time babes will be the reason...I want Minnie to stand with Hs if something like this happens in near future....

Har baar babes aur uska past uske actions ko justyfy nahi Kar sakta....

Now I'm sure babes ka yeh avtar dekh Kar he Minnie alag rehne ki baat Kar rahi hogi.....

PS:- Minnie should have told babes that due to her she miss her college from starting even she drop her dream of studying in Delhi...and mostly she should have told her that how she was wrong to make HS apologies forcefully.....Baki sare Minnie k point we're good but she should have talked to her first when she was sending Ashok away... it's her right also but medam babes ko to apni azadi chahiye thi... Minnie rokti thodi but at least she should have informed her to jyada better rehta....

I hate when they make me lose a bit of respect for babita. Say what you will about what she endured as a woman, but as a mother I don’t think she does a very good job. I can’t believe they’ve actually made her say this to mini when in reality, she did not leave because she saw nothing wrong with staying in that situation and was perfectly happy with the husband working abroad and her being the perfect daughter in law

yes you said it correctly she still isnt feeling guilty about what she has done or was trying to do with mini. She was crying just because she destroyed her so called project. Maybe someone needs to tell her that Mini is having depression again for her to realise she is not concentrating on her well being mentally. Then she will cry for 5 min and after a few days get back to normal🤔

Yes mini would have also shown the same behavior like babita and she is different, but with people like babita it is much needed otherwise they wont understand how they are affecting other people.

And mini forgot to add one more thing in the list of ego decicions that babita has taken. The time when babita asked not to speak to mickey and choose her or her talking to mickey. I remember how mini was hurt because she had no other friend then and angry with babes but still choose her because she could do anything for her. It was similar to the situation where Babita asked hanuman to choose her or his ego and say sorry. I hope mini realises it that she has only given wings to babitas ego by accepting every demand of hers and now Babita expects hanuman to do the same thing.

i actually never saw a emotional connection between babita & ashok. i think he went away very early in the marriage and Ashok dint try to get close to babita and babita in her ego might have waited for ashok to take the 1st step. And in between all this she forgot that he was alone in a new place and she could have taken the 1st step and tried to connect with him emotionally.

I agree she was very content with serving her in laws and her husband working for them and sending money

I agree. I’m actually finding similarities in the character of ashok and babita. Just like ashok, with babita it’s always SOMEONE ELSES FAULT. I just think it’s pretty low that after all this time it being meeta and Ashoks fault, it’s now mini’s fault. Poor mini who would do anything for babita, and put babitas own happiness above her own (as she’s been doing). I actually also believe that if it weren’t mini who forced her out of that house, she would have been okay with living there, keeping quiet as meeta and ashok go along being together. That’s why I don’t think this ego thing has always been there, I think it’s come out since walking out on ashok. Someone with ego wouldn’t just stand quietly and listen to ashok accuse her of sleeping with the judge.

From what they said at the start, ashok barely came home and when he did, he ignored babita so where was the ego then? And how could she have stayed for mini when she had to tell mini lies about the kind of father ashok was.

I think her independence, and praise about her business, has made her very proud (which she should be) but not to the point of her turning on mini and now blaming her, when mini also has issues from the life they’ve lived

She has a billion complexes and has never learn to accept responsibility for her actions and decisions. As you said and as I have said elsewhere, it is NEVER her fault. It's always someone else's fault!

Life will never be a bed of roses for HS just as it could never have been for Minnie what with a mother like Babita around that she has had to mother.

It is a trademark of people with ego. They always manage to blame others for their own actions. IT also depends on the degree of the ego they have. If it's not significant, they might at some point learn to accept some of their mistakes. But those with huge ego will never do so. I hope in the show they keep it real. Babita's ego will never go away completely. If they show it is gone just like magic, then it will be highly unrealistic. Instead, they should show Babita learning from her past mistakes and trying to keep her ego under control. That should be a good start.

I have said this before. Saying it again. Makers should show some flashback from Ashok Babita initial years of marriage. Both have a huge ego. I think initally Ashok wanted some time to settle down, find a stable job, home, etc. So he did not take Babita with him. Babita may have taken it otherwise. It hurt her ego perhaps. Later, Ashok was hoping she would come and Babita was hoping Ashok would come and say sorry and take her. Neither of them bowed down. Both stayed in their own ego zone. Babita can blame Mita all she wants. But it was not all Mita's fault. Both Babita and Ashok are responsible for their marriage falling apart. And now, Babita is blaming Mini. Some nerve she has. Good NB stopped her.
