I think there's a long way to go before Babita realizes and acknowledges the impact she had on Minnie's mind as she was growing up. A sorry from her right now would just be perfunctory. When Minnie was upset with her after HS walked out, her outburst was also against a feeling of injustice that her mother was stripping her of the chance to finally have her father, HS, permanently in her life.

As for the pre-cap, I think it is extremely extremely interesting for all the nuances that we saw. I had discussed before about HS' role changing because of this marriage and his ability to exert his rights as a father. He has never done so and I don't think he will force anyone because that's not his nature, but I think it is time for everyone to realize that just like Babita is not exclusively Minnie's, her daughter is not exclusively hers anymore.

Kudos to the CVs for bringing this up, albeit in a lighthearted manner. I am really looking forward to it.

HS actually needs to exert that right on mini now. Mini needs to feel she is wanted & needed by both her parents equally. That is how normal children feel & mini needs to get that normalcy in her life. And both Babita & Hanuman have to realise this.

@bold i find babita too slow to think on those lines. maybe in future some incident will crop up where NB might make her realise this

There is bound to be some conflict between HS and Babita as parents since their ideas about parenting and raising children would be very different and especially where Minnie is concerned. I think NB and HS are going to at some point in the future highlight the poor parenting Minnie had received before and this is going to hurt Babita's ego at some point.

For now, I think HS still needs to feel more secure as a father, and Minnie as a daughter. It is interesting that even Minnie has not considered scenarios where she fully becomes his daughter, is in his team wholeheartedly as well because she is still somewhat on team Babita. She will have to learn to balance both parents more, and to an extent give HS even more attention because he is new in her life and missed her growing years. Sure, as father and daughter, they have come a long way but there's still so much they have to learn about each other. HS still does not know a lot of the small details about Minnie that Babita would have known having been with Minnie since she was born.

A good example is when Babita left some pizza for Minnie, in case she wanted to eat some later - she had done something similar many months ago, and had secretly watched her daughter eat later on at night. HS had not understood these nuances, but Babita had. These may seem like small things but often it is the small things that count, and while HS knows what Minnie is like as a person and on the emotional/psychological front he reads her far better than everyone else, there are elements of her life that he is yet unaware of. He is also learning to parent with time (and doing a damn good job of it too!).

As for Babita realizing... never mind... It's enough for me if Minnie realizes that her father deserves her attention and loyalty too and the default stance should not necessarily be that Minnie is always playing on Babita's team.

I think that she is going to be with HS for the rest of the Wedding.

I hope so too, because she is already in HS' family, and it would be like her welcoming a new mom, her father's wife into her family, hopefully eventually a new Babita too.
