Yes, HS did need someone to console him, someone who had no idea about what had happened, but just genuinely wished him all the happiness. It really was a well-done seen. Did you notice that the perfectionist HS did not put his foot completely into his shoes as he stood up and walked to Mickey? It shows how disturbed he was. I love this attention to detail in the screenplay. 👏

Didn't watch this scene clearly and understand .. Can you elaborate?

This disbelief of Minni will stay with her because now she has seen everything up close & personal .. when something like this happens in the future .. there will a rift between the two .. because her dreams had shattered due to her ego which she didnt/couldnt confront her .. but babes too hasn't realized that her ego shattered her daughter's dreams ..

i just wish mini has brought up how she had to let go of her dream college for babita . How she has had to become a mother to babita. If babita stayed with ashok then it was for herself also but here mini has sacrificed only for her .

had she done that .. the she wouldv'e technically repeated babita's blame game .. and she is not babita.. That's the difference between herself & Babita ..

I understand what you mean, but keep in mind that no matter how much Minnie loves HS, she still has a longer history of sharing her life with her mother that outweighs the comparatively short duration she has spent with HS. I know the quality is greater than quantity, but all those years weigh on Minnie sometimes.

With HS, she hasn't had to pretend to be brave or act as a parent, the equation is totally different. Minnie is also becoming and adult, and it all goes back to what we have been saying about her needing to find her way in life without being burdened by having to mother Babita.

The fact that she has to mother her all the time, bothers me .. and on top that babes asserting her 'mother' power over her irks me to no end ..

Yes she has had it .. because after all the events she has returned to regretting for taking the wrong decision and not learning from her mistake and correcting it .. For e.g. after rejecting alimony and not having anything in her account made her realize that she committed a mistake for not accepting the money .. Her anger is her worst enemy and it only fuels to her ego ..

I will say something from my own experience. Parents are not God. Parents are not always right. There are times when many parents abuse their kids in the name of discipline. There are many parents try to hide their own shortcomings by blaming their kids. That all parents are right and kids are always wrong is a myth.

As wise as HS is, I'm glad he has someone like Naeem Bi in his life to not only set him straight when he goes wrong but to guide him in general. My gosh, my love for this woman has grown tenfolds. After the death of his mother, I don't know what would have been running through his mind. I am so glad that he had Naeem Bi in his life. ❤❤❤

On a side note, I absolutely love how despite Lala and Naeem Bi not being related to him, their relationship with HS runs stronger than blood ties. ❤
