I think it is her psychological disorder to make people follow rules due to something that happened with her parents long time back. I don't think she is hypocrite. She is just not conscious when she did the same for her patient. It was a subconscious and hasty decision taken by a patient loving doctor to save the patient's life.

In the same way, Dr Sid is also cheating rich people for helping poor patients, but we have to remember that it is only us who know that Sid's motives are good. But Ishani doesn't. So obviously she thinks that he is a corrupt doctor.

This is the meaning of hypocrite from dictionary. Now tell me how is Ishani not a hypocrite ?

Character flaw : A limitation , problem , phobia , or deficiency present in a character who is otherwise very functional.

So you may say it's her character flaw.....but that character flaw is called hypocrisy.

Tell me how does rishab breaking rules count? Character deficiency or hypocrisy? He told the doctors to ignore paper work for their first day registration to go to an accident site. I don't know about others, but thanks to my job I'm 24hrs insured by default as long as I make my movements job related very clear. Didn't he bypass something important here?

You are talking about the first attendance and registration of a first year resident. Koi proofs bhi hein to justify they work in the hospital. It wasn't normal forms to fill up that can be ignored in other cases.. suppose something happened to them during this case?

No she told juhi that she is the daughter of the CEO of sanjivani, so to hell with rules. She will stay in the OT irrespective of whether juhi likes or not. Do watch today's epi and revert back.

@bold: exactly this. She breaking rule deliberately would be called her hypocrisy but here it was a subconscious decision which happens every time she sees a life in danger.. When she sees a patient in danger, she is unconsciously breaking rule and this she will learn slowly.

Hypocrisy would be when she deliberately breaks a rule knowingly other than when saving a patient in danger which seems to be coming unconsciously.

@bold: He did surgery with Ishani and later scolded her. so why did he exactly allowed for that surgery because he was very much part of the surgery.

and as in other reply said that Ishani did not break rule deliberately or knowingly. Hypocrisy is when u preach for that and then do same things knowingly. Here she broke rules twice and both time that patient was critical so this is her flaw that when it comes about a patient in danger she is subconsciously breaking rule without realizing that she herself her broke a rule.

Given the fact that the patient 's father was unwilling to keep his daughter in hospital any longer, it was an unplanned and instinctive decision taken by Ishani to save her life. It wasn't a well planned and well thought decision by Ishani to deliberately break the rules. So she isn't a hypocrite in anyway.

I just remembered the scene.

If Dr Ishani was breaking rule knowingly then when Dr sid did not allow her to assist Shashank surgery then she would have still went ahead to Juhi and would have asked or done something but rather she followed Sid's order even when he is corrupt boss in his eyes. So hypocrisy is when she herself breaks rules knowingly but asks others to follow but knowingly she haven't broken any rules. She is doing it subconsciously
