Elvish Yadav Says He Is Not A 'BJP SUPPORTER': 'It Was Maneka Gandhi Who Got Fake Snake Venom Case Against Me'

Elvish Yadav has broken his silence after finding himself at the centre of an online debate over his political stance. The social media star took to X to respond to users who have repeatedly labelled him a BJP supporter, asserting that he does not hold any personal loyalty towards any political party.

In a strongly worded post, Elvish argued that the accusations against him do not align with his own experiences. Referring to the snake venom case that brought him under intense scrutiny, he pointed out that BJP leader Maneka Gandhi had been among those who levelled allegations against him. Stressing that this alone should dispel assumptions about his political leanings, he wrote, "For those calling me a BJP supporter, let me make one thing clear: it was Maneka Gandhi, a BJP leader at the time, who got a fake snake venom case filed against me. So I have no personal attachment to any political party."

The influencer went on to state that he prefers to judge situations on their own merit instead of viewing them through a political lens. According to him, supporting a cause does not automatically translate into support for a political party. He maintained that he has consistently spoken up whenever he felt something was wrong, irrespective of who was involved.

His comments come amid criticism from a section of social media users who questioned why he had not spoken enough about the NEET paper leak controversy. Addressing those allegations head on, Elvish claimed that he has been vocal about the issue for years and rejected suggestions that he had ignored it.

Responding to critics, he wrote, "And for all those asking why I haven’t spoken on the NEET paper leak - first of all, I raised my voice on this issue two years ago, and I’m doing so again today."

Elvish also made his position on examination leaks clear, saying that such incidents damage the future of students and deserve strict action. He called for a thorough investigation into everyone involved, regardless of their influence or status, and insisted that accountability should not be selective.

Highlighting the need to protect students, he said, "Students deserve a fair system."

The influencer further argued that if fixing the problem requires action at the highest levels, then that action should be taken without hesitation. He wrote, "Resignations should happen. No individual or position should be above the interests of students and the integrity of the education system."

The discussion did not end there. Some users also brought up issues such as previous paper leak cases, student suicides, and concerns related to the CBSE system. Reacting to those comments, Elvish accused certain critics of selectively choosing issues to suit their narrative.
