He stood leaning on the tree..looking at the building in front across the road..waiting for the last bell to ring. After 10minutes of wait, the bell rang. He immediatly straighten himself..and started searching for that one person, for whom he was here. And soon enough he spotted her..who has been the reason of his restlessness for past few days. He saw her coming towards the main gate, she looked cute in her uniform. She was busy with her friends..didnt even noticed him..who's eyes were stuck on her only. He wished that she would look at him at least for once.. But she was totally obivous of his presence around her!
She byed bye to others..but one of her friend..may be close friend was with her. As both started walking.. he too followd..but with a safe distance. It has become his routine nowadays. She & her friend stoped to eat "gola". He hided behind a nearby tree. She chosed "kala-khutta". He smiled when he saw her making faces while suking & liking that sour syrup..just like a kid. He chukld when she asked that "golawala" for extra syrup.
After that she stopd at a garden. She ran inside drraging her friend along with her. Her payal made a beautiful shann-shann sound as she ran towards the swings. Both the girls took one swing each & it seems that they were having a comptition that who can go higher. She was laughing & gigling..while he was lost in her. Then she collected her fav flowers like always.
"bye geet" her friend said..as they reached near her colony..nd both went in diffrent directions. She, geet turned at the left & he too followd. Sometimes.. She was moving that water bottle in her hand or sometimes she was kicking the stones on the empty road..without knowing that some one was watching her carfree acts.
When she reached near her house..she pushed opend the gates & ran inside. He stood there..watching her..who disappeard in the main door. He was about to go when he noticed something shiny near the gates of her house. He checkd around once..and went near to take a closer look. He smiled seeing that thing..recognaising it. He bend down & pick it up. It was her payal(anklet). He again looked around to check if anyone saw him. He brought it near his lips..n kissed it.. before keeping it securely in his pockets..and then he left..smiling to himself.
As the last bell rang..a mix feeling of nervousness & excitment filled her. she was walking towards the main gate with her fast heartbeats. She wishd he will be there. As soon as she reached near the main gate..she somehow controlled her crazy heart and looked from the corner of her eyes..he was there!! Waiting like past few days.. Leaning against that big gulmor tree across the road. She pretended to talk to her friends..while in reality, all her attention was on him only.
She byed bye to others... As she & pooja started walking.. She noticed him coming behind them..maitaining a little distance. Her heart was beating faster every passing second. She was trying very hard to hide..watever was going in her heart& mind. They stoped to eat her fav "barf-golla". She liked it when he smiled looking at her enjoying her fav "kala khutta"..yes, she notice that! And when she asked that "golewala" to add some extra syrup..he laughed at her!! She pouted her lips..thinking..how dare he make fun of her..but then couldnt help smiling.

For a moment her heart urged her to talk to him.. But then couldnt muster the courage. She purposely kept doing something or other.. Be it, moving that water bottle in her hand or kicking those stones on the road. She was liking his attaintion! She smiled at her own thoughts..& mantally chided her self.
When she reached near her house..she just ran inside..closing the door. She rushed to the window to see him. As she peeped thourgh the curtains of the window..she saw him coming towards her house. For a moment she panicked thinking that he is coming inside.. But then got confused when saw him bending down..& picking something. Soon She realised..that it was a "payal"..immediatly she checkd & found one of her "payal" missing. She turned..only to see him kissing it & keeping it in his pocket..! A blush crept her cheeks..& a shy smile came on her lips...seeing his gesture!

she came out as she saw him leaving. She went towards the gate and kept looking at his retrating figure. But he stoped suddenly! She immediatly hided behing the pillar..guessing that he may turn around. He didnt turned..instead bend down to tie his shoe lace properly..and again resumed walking. She sighed..coming out.. And saw him turning at the corner..he was gone!
She was about to go back inside..when she notice something on the ground. She picked it up..it was a hankerchif..and by that "M" on it...which was done in a smiple but beautiful design she knew that it belonged to him!
She smiled crassing that "M". "MAAN.." she wisphered blushing! She brought it near her cheek & felt that soft cotton fabric on her skin..which has his feel. She was lost in that feel.
She looked up with a shy smile..only to get a shock of her life! Her heart stoped beating..seeing him standing in front of her..just a few meters away!
