Seriously. They barely support the women that have dealt with stuff like this. Sonam, kareena will never have to deal with this... because they get films on platter.

Kareena's husband worked with Sajid Khan.. I am 100% sure she knew what was going on with Sajid. Too late to speak up.

How can she be 100% sure what was going on unless Sajid abused infront of her and stripped in front of her, which is unlikely

In case some of you missed what Sonam said recently. That she too has been a part of all the harassment because she supported people involved in harassment.
Yes they all worked with Salman and Akshay and Sajid etc...but the culture was of keeping quiet or being in denial...the culture is changing...and these girls have decided to speak up. In fact, we need more privileged people to speak up and put their foot down about working with sexual harassers.

I'm a Sonam fan, but I will criticize her. She should've spoken up earlier.. the women who spoke up barely have any safety net, but they spoke up. They are just protecting their own... Sajid was caught and people in the inner circle acting like OMG we didn't know is BS.

Unfortunately bollywood can not sustain a #metoo.
The movement has already lost the momentum and media has abandoned it completely simply because the subject isn't going to give them the traction it requires.

The good thing is, it's already done a lot. It has scared people. People who would otherwise not hesitate to take advantage of women in the past would think twice today for fear of repercussions. Ke kahin kal ye ladki social media pe jaake apna moo na kholde. And because the movement is geared towards believing the victims, that empowers the women even more.

In that regard, the movement is protecting the women today.

It's true that #Metoo hasn't had the same impact on BW as in HW since the #s which came out were minimal ... but it is also true some which came out faced with repercussions! .. so it may not have had the same impact, but it has for sure creeped in the fear of social media! .. it'll only go to help women in future!
