I still feel that in an attempt to whitewash nandini, they butchered her character totally.. Quite possible DD is not comfy being a neg character n her contract might state that it's a positive bechaari character.. and hence try pe try to whitewash her..

I noticed change in Kunal's dialogues too since 2-3 episodes.. it's liks he is shifting attention from Nandini to himself...

I feel Gajra Kottary is taking some sort of a revenge on Nandini-Kunal character. On one side we have bang on dialogues for Mouli, Radhika, their friends n even dida to some extent. On the other hand bakwas dialogues for Nandini n kunal. How can one writer write something which is like 180 degrees apart. Either she is a good narrator or a bad one. One one side GK is proving to be too good n the other side is totally rubbish. 😕 How much can she degrade her protagonist . It doesn't make sense. Even after all the backslashs cvs r still trying to whitewash their leads which only looks foolish.

Every time we think Nandini/kunal cannot fall further, we see something even more disgusting. Why is that? Is she trying to tell us something? Is this some sort of a personal grudge? I heard this story is a lot like Mona- Boney- sridevi story n GK was very close the Mona. Is she writing this story as a tribute to Mona. Sri was a heroine to the outside world but...I don't know I maybe wrong. More i see this foolishness the more I'm convinced there is something behind the scenes.

D has very expressive eyes. No doubt in that. Nandini has this dreamy look in her eyes when she is not crying. As if she is smoking weed. Can't decipher what this means. Kunal' eyes r also very confusing at times. What is going on in his mind when he is looking at Mouli. 😕 It looks like the actors r confused themselves.

DD maybe not given the entire script n she is caught in this mess now.
This is just my opinion n I maybe wrong.

I think when the promo aired, they meant all three to be a positive force each in the show, but some twisted circumstances and misplaced feelings wreaking havoc in their lives. The potrayal could have been so very different so that people could connect with Nandini as well. It shouldn't have been that hard for them you know. They overplayed this beautiful, pretty girl, with girlie qualities, dresses up in fineries etc. Nothing wrong in showing her beautiful or interested in jewellery or make up or in cooking. But they overdid it. And shifted their focus from what was to be to what it is.
There wasn't any depth in Kunal's feelings, watching her raindance one day cannot be the reason to fall out of love with your wife.
They could have made it slower. Showed the frivolities later.
If they wanted to show some actual feeling of love between these two, it should have been coz they are similar (I think they did that in the beginning I think when they became friends?), They understand each other, they share their issues with the other. And at the same time Kunal doesn't realise he's drifting away from his wife. If that had been the case, then this situation wouldn't have occurred.
I mean, EMA is still wrong, but as you said, their characters would resonate with the audience coz of the emotional connect. Physicality should have come in later. Physical intimacy should have come in later if they intended pure love.
When they brought intimacy in first with no proper basis for love, the writers themselves trivialised the whole EMA as something pleasure seeking. And no dialogues or innocent expressions can salvage that grave error. Or if they wanted to show physical attraction, frigging cut the crap, and show that and don't make these characters say they are in some divine love. You can't show attraction and expect people to believe it is love. However, they could have shown enough love and then shown attraction and made it relatable. But no, these people just ruined it.

Writers are trying to make the other woman "Nandini" the heroine and as a righteous character but obviously no audience with a sane mind can accept it. I always feel the initial.plan would have been like the writers would have thought that indian audience Wil accept Nandini as mainlead but their plan failed.miserably!

Well in reality, this is a very common combination found in people.

But in tv, Ishwari dixit from KRPKAB was one such character, though that character was redeemed in much better ways in the show.
