Just reading the WU is making me uncomfortable and irritated; how anyone can sit throughout the episode is beyond me
Last Friday ka dialogue " Mauli ko lagta hai ke humne uska sindoor cheena hai." -> Let me get this straight Nandini snatched Kunal who happens to be Mauli's husband (Of course he too has willingly allowed himself to be snatched) and claims that Mauli "FEELS" this way??? I am not mistaken Sindoor is a symbol of being married... of having a husband OR did #Silsila invent some new meaning for Sindoor so that Nandini could say the above line ? So that she could come across as innocent?
I really don't understand the purpose of the dialogue.
"Hum uske dushman nahi hai Kunal" -> How does Nandini not get the simple fact and truth into her head that she has done something A FRIEND IS NOT SUPPOSED TO DO EVER? How is she not the bad guy aka dushman here?? If you are friend, or for that matter even a well-wisher the golden rule is to DO NO HARM.
Also, why does Nandini cry sooo much? Usko toh sab kuch mil gaya...Her BFF's husband as her her "TRUE LOVE", no extra family baggage because everybody hates her, an almost married life without being married...and still she keeps crying when someone says something aka THE TRUTH to her regarding the whole thing? What did she expect that she'd contribute to the breaking up a home, a family, a relationship and won't have to bear the brunt of it? That there would be no repercussions?
At this point Nandini's lines, her emotions , her feelings, her monologues and the character as a whole makes zero sense to me and it is OBVIOUS that the writers are messing up big time. They are completely confused as to where turn Nandini grey or not. And this confusion is evident on screen because Nandini's actions are grey but through er words and emotions they try to still keep her in the protagonist light; BUT are failing miserably. WHY? Because Nandini is coming across as a hypocrite. Put any on-screen vamp and Nandini under one roof and ask viewers to chose the vamp of the two and they'll easily chose Nandini- because frankly that is how she is coming across.
And last night's precap was like getting a sneak peak of her cruel and twisted mind. Initially I was like mujhe nahi lagta Nandini iss duniya ko belong karti hai and then I was like nope - She is just plain heartless because after killing Mauli (in a way literally), she now wants to plan a surprise birthday for Mauli with Kunal?
With every passing day the writers are making Nandini impossible to resonate with. Even if she is the other woman or the home wrecker; sensible writing can help audience to at least see things from her POV. They don't have to accept it or appreciate it but at least they'll not be indifferent to it.
Had to rant...
P.S. Please don't advise me "Change the channel" or "It's Reel/Fiction" etc. because I know these things . 😊
