Thank you anjs, I think you explained it better and got to the point more succinctly.

Wow, OK.

First of all I'm really sorry for everything that you and your family went through.

But are you seriously not understanding what I'm trying to explain here? I keep saying if this is indeed a minor ailment. I would never consider cancer a minor ailment no matter what stage. I wouldn't even consider liver or kidney problems minor specially given Rishi's possible alcoholism. Minor ailment would be he has back problems and finds out he needs knee replacement surgery because his weight has been putting too much strain on his joint. If my grandmother died while my dad was getting ready for knee replacement surgery then yes I would feel comfortable leaving him with my capable mom for a few days and making it to the funeral. No this wouldn't make me a bad daughter. If anything it would make me a responsible daughter because I stepped up while my parents weren't able to.

On that note, I'm out.

Lol @ insinuations .. RKR is not in the same bracket as Ranbir. Raj kumar is a fabulous actor but the kind of roles he does is very diff from the films RK has picked lately. I dont see Rajkumar doing a Brahmastra, Shamshera kinda films nor do I see RK doing a Stree or similar stuff. If Ranbir has to he would do that to Varun RS or Tiger, who are directly his competition not to a Rajkumar or Ayushman.

tbh it doesn't seem like a minor ailment, rk was so close to his grandmother, even if he missed the actual funeral he cud hav made it to the prayer meet that happend yesterday, but it seems like rishi may hav something serious which is why rk is staying with him

Well thanks.he has been cancer free for some time now.

I understood you perfectly. But what you would do hardly holds true for most other families. You really seem to be rather stoic. Good. Its needed. And i would rather step up where its needed. Like to my dad's bedside. Even if my mom was capable. And if i have cousins who are there...and a sister who is representi g my part of the family at my dead granny's maiyyat...i would stay with my dad.

I doubt they would have needed ranbir to accompany them if it had not been serious in the first place.

Until we know what happened...its best we both hope the best and stay out. On whatever notes we choose to leave on.
